No, they won't. Easy schedule and clearly the best team in AFC.

What do you mean, they'll only have 14 wins this year?

It's REALLY hard to imagine the Pats winning less than 12-13 games this season, with that cakewalk schedule.

they had no defense last year and no WR`s, no runnin gback and made it to the superbowl...

you can pretty much give tom brady 1 player and he can throw it to that guy for 30 straight attempts for the entire game and still win, with only 5 men on defense on the field

just because we don't always post the info doesn't mean we don't have the info.
old school guys like JJ and I did not grow up learning how to type in school.
we learned real handwriting and were forced to do math without calculators.
    i didn't learn to type until i was 30

A record does not make the team less than or better than average.
The truth doesn't reveal itself until the playoffs.
Being said, let's look at the schedule:

@ Titans - they will probably win the opener
    Cardinals - win at home
    @ Ravens - likely loss.
    @ Buffalo - potential loss.
    Denver - potential loss.
@ Seattle - potential loss. (yes)
    Jets - potential loss.
    @ Rams - potential loss.
Buffalo - still a potential loss.
Colts - they will take this
    @ Jets - likely loss
@ Miami - they often struggle at Miami
    Texans - very possible loss
    49ers - potential loss
    @ Jaguars - win likely
    Miami - win likely

Every game in the NFL is a potential loss for someone. NE will rack up between 12-14 wins this year if the core of the Team stays healthy. The Ravens, Texans, 49'ers and maybe Buffalo will be their real tests. The Jets are a mess and Miami still doesn't have a QB to keep pace with Brady. Belichick and Brady aren't quite ready to ride off into the sunset yet!!!

This could be for any team. You think the pats will potentially lose more games than they win vs the worst division in the nfl. Ok bud

Hard to bet against a healthy Tom Brady

Also are you forgetting the the most dominant receiving force in the NFL? Gronkowski? Nobody can stop that man.

i think they will be anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6 max
and will be a poor bet in most games.
which means taking the points against them especially
early in the season before Vegas and the public adjust
    will be profitable.

So what are your reasons? Because you went through a schedule of potential happenings? That is how every year starts

brady skills will start to diminish, mobility vanished.
    they can't stop the pass.
    they can't stop the run.
they have no real running game.
they won't protect brady long enough for long downfield passes.
competition is improving, patriots struggling to maintain past performance.
welker and branch getting old. yes, welker who is too small and white.
danny woodhead will not be a surprise to anyone anymore.
gronkowski will be covered well and possibly injured again.

If you believe this you should pound the under 12 like it's your job. If someone offered 10 1/2 it would be a flood of money, never mind 9 which is what you are suggesting it should be(or lower). Patriots have more talent now than they have the last two years and what teams are you seeing as improved competition?

i definitely do like the Under 12 as a sure bet, but in general i don't like
to make bets and have to wait 7 months for them to pay. there will
be 16 opportunites to bet against the Pats.
what teams do i think will be better ? i have some in mind. but of course we need
to see a couple games first. For example I think we need to see some play out of
the Jets before understanding what the heck they intend to do. In the AFC generally
speaking I think the Browns will be improved, Buffalo improved and Denver a major force again.
Raiders possibly. Of course Ravens and Steelers still going to be top teams.
In the NFC I like Philly's prospects to win the division and also the Rams to mature a lot and
make the playoffs with Seattle possibly finally finding consistency.

Early in the season is when you can make money on them, when they are crushing everyone with soft lines. Usually within a few weeks Vegas starts increasing the lines to even the action. PS, this Team is no where near ready to slow down.

You're right, but the AFC East is better than the AFC/NFC West and AFC South

haha when i saw this post 2 months ago i knew someone would search and bring it back.... i was raised a pats fan when it wasnt kewl... bill is a defensive guru and has done well as of lately with a sub par roster but they alot better after this years additions so i wouldnt be suprised if they have top 10 ranking on defense ( its a streeeeeeeeeeetch and maybe home bias)
