    Yes it can.

Not making the Playoffs and/or not winning a playoff game.

Then who cares about Manning. He might win the crappy division, one playoff game if he's lucky then lose the next.

No better than Tebow and way less exciting.

Yeah 7-3 finals with 2 completed passes on the day....thrill a minute stuff alright! Better question....Over/Under wins for a Tebow Denver vs the 2nd hardest schedule in the NFL. I say 6.5! How many miracles did Tebow conjure up just to go 8-8? Miracles that didn't involve his play WHATSOVER like Barber fumbles, Sanchez pick 6s, etc.

Bottom line...Kurt Warner got Arizona within a minute or so of a SB win and threw 83 tds from age 36-38. Favre was better than that at age 40 and both those guys got beat like pinatas for alot of their career unlike Manning. I read where a doctor said his neck is stronger after the fusions then it was before so he should be ok...40+ players have came back from the same surgery and alot of them hit every play. Denver has a shot but prob not this year. Tebow will be a funny story by 2013...either fullback or another Sarah Palin getting paid to represent and speak for idiots.

I'm not sure why Peyton never considered KC? They have more weapons on both sides of the ball when healthy and just as much cap space as Denver if not more. Romeo Crennel is a monster with defense and Peyton with Jamal Charles, Peyton Hillis, Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston, and maybe Dallas Clark is a no-brainer cakewalk in the AFC West.

O/U for Denver with Tebow and tough schedule was 7.5 on 5dimes

Interested to see what it will be with Manning. I assume 10.5 or 9.5

Jordan shot a decent % for a volume shooter about what Kobe is this year and had a good floor game, he was about the 15th best player in the league about as good as Paul Pierce in his prime and he is a hall of famer according to most.

Highest TD percentage in red zone
    By QB, last 2 seasons*

    Broncos Tim Tebow 28.6
    Jaguars David Garrard 27.2
    Colts Peyton Manning 25.7
    Packers Aaron Rodgers 25.7
    Patriots Tom Brady 24.6

I think this is part of the field where he excels at just has trouble getting to....

The worst thing that can happen is Manning gets injured, that's it. If he doesn't, he'll be throwing the rock like the old Manning, and make average recievers look great. Denver fits him, because they will cater to the run and not force to pass over 50 times like the old days. He will do what Elway did with Davis, with teams having to respect the pass.

In Tebow case, nobody respect the pass. 10 completions a game will not get you far, especially after what teams seen what he can do last year.

Manning will probably play good and Thomas will get like 1900 yards but their secondary will get torched and their schedule looks hard.

Who knows hw they will be. I give them a decent shot at making the playoffs.

no one knows how Manning will hold up when he has 350 pound guys slaming him to the turf and going for his neck.

Elway mentors Peyton to be a game manager with 200 yards and 1 TD per game. They already got the run & D.

Peyton Manning's offenses avg. 26 ppg during his career

John Fox's teams are 39-3 when his team scores 26 or more

It just might work out if they draft well and use the rest of their cap space wisely. I'm thinking 10-6 or maybe 11-5 if Manning can stay healthy. They prob won't get a bye but I think Arizona went 9-7 when Warner got them into the SB.

I can't see broncos making the playoffs with manning managing the game and the bullseye on their back with a tough schedule.

miami;s defense is kinda the same . look great against 3rd string qb's and crap offenses to pump their stats. And against crap QB's like Sanchez they can look good. Then against a real offense and real QB they get torched

Miami's D has been ranked in the Top 8 the last 2 years but to me its more middle of the pack

Broncos will clinch the AFC west and a 1st round bye. The went 8-8 with Tim Tebow for goodness sake. Many of the comeback wins orchestrated by Tebow would of been blowouts if Manning was chucking the rock in those same games. If Timmy boy can lead Denver to 8 wins, Manning is definitely going to get them 11-12 wins next year.

denver running game was horrible when they were trying to be a passing team the last few years. only when they switched to the tebow offense did the run game get going. that is gone now.

i think they will be pretty good if manning stays healthy but probably not till 2013.

But how many did we deserve last year? We were a few lucky plays away from 5-11. With that schedule and everyone having to learn a new offense/qb, I wouldn't expect much more than 8-8 or 9-7. 2013 though should be better.
