Tennessee wants Manning for life....and could make him President/part owner-- Here's the latest that I'm hearing about Peyton Manning and let me tell you, it's pretty interesting and worth the read.
Titans owner Bud Adams has said that he will offer Peyton a "contract for life." Granted, Manning might only play for 3 more years (if that), but the deal goes further. Michael Lombardi of NFL.com is reporting that Adams has said Manning "could be part of the Tennessee Titans' organization after his playing days are through." That's if he wants to of course.
Specifically, Shawn Zobel of Draft Headquarters is reporting that Manning "would become President of the team like [John] Elway in Denver, but also receive stake in ownership." However, since Manning cannot be an owner while playing, once he retired, he would be able to have a minority stake in the team.
