That 2nd round pick is this years too.

Wow. First rounders for the next 3 years and this years 2nd, for RG3. They better hope he becomes a hall of fame type QB.

Redskins acquired the No. 2 overall pick in exchange for three first-round picks, including No. 6 overall this year, and a future second-round selection.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that St. Louis and Washington will exchange first-round picks this year. The Rams will get two more future first-rounders, likely in 2013 and 2014. The Redskins are now positioned to draft Baylor QB Robert Griffin, or Stanford QB Andrew Luck if the Colts pull a fast one at No. 1. New Rams coach Jeff Fisher and GM Les Snead were intent on putting their "stamp" on the St. Louis organization with a lofty draft-pick haul in year one, and they've got it in exchange for moving down only four spots. We still love the deal for Washington. They're absolutely going to get a franchise quarterback, and will still be all systems go in free agency. The Browns are left in the dust.

Have you watched the NFL the last 15 years since Danny Boy took over? They are beyond stupid. What a farking steal for the Rams. Good for them.

What's incredibly funny is the Vikings beat the Skins in the 2nd to last game of the year. Completely meaningless game and they won it and it cost them this #2 pick and a way to seriously rebuild for the future.

The rams will draft that clown from baylor and he will amount to nothing. Such a horrible organization. Poor skins fans. That was once a VERY GOOD and PROUD organization. There was a time when teams feared going into RFK.

They were bidding against themselves. No one else would give the rams close to that. At least the deadskins will have a good qb to build around now and not sexy text and beck.

It is my personal opinion that Bradford is a loser, but not everyone agrees with me on this... but RG3 wasn't the answer for them anyway. They might as well get in on Peyton.

Wow, so Rams pretty much get who they want and then get another two first rounders and a second rounder. Quite a haul. Draft picks are gold. All for moving down 4 slots. Unreal.

Cleveland was apparently willing to give that, but skins beat them to it

fukk the motherfukkn skins... those fukks had that bounty going back in 06 and and putt hard hard hits on Manning that year... which eventually down the road lead to the neck surgeries. i put a fukkn curse on them, even tho the dumbfukk skins are bad enough to be losers all by themselves for the rest of my life.

This couldnt be further from the truth.

Browns refused to give up a 2nd first rounder, let alone a 3rd.

Rams wanted to drop down to 4, not 6... but were blown away by Skins offer. Would not be surprised to see them still trade with Cleveland to get back to 4.

Skins have the worst wideouts in the league outside of Cleveland, QB was not really the problem.

Good luck bringing a high prized rookie QB in the NFC East..

Way to put him against Giants Pass D, Cowboys and Demarcus Ware, and Eagles Blitz..

I'm sure he'll be safe all week..

Romo gets hit hard and banged up... Mcnabb same.. Vick... Kevin Kolb... Only Eli really withstood the test of time..

Not goign to be easy standing straight by the end of the season..

Good luck to the skins.. going to need it

Hats off to the Rams....they'll still end up with the player that they wouldve drafted at the number two spot, more than likely.

No. They wanted Khalil or Blackmon. No chance either are available at 6. Thats why Skins had to blow them away to get the pick

Dunno what you're reading, but that couldn't be further from the truth....browns would have given up the 3 firsts, they weren't as willing to pull on the additional second rounder as well and Washington beat them to it

    From ESPN:
"The Browns reportedly made a push for the second overall pick, going so far as to offer at least three No. 1 picks to the Rams and possibly even the second-round pick, one source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter"

And no chance kalil is there at 6, no, but I agree wvgambler, very good chance blackmon is there. 1: luck, 2: griffin, 3: kalil, 4/5: some order of Richardson or Claiborne. Both grading out very highly, analysts saying Richardson best rb grade since AP and maybe better, and Claiborne compared to and better than Petersen last year who got drafted at 5. So yah there is a chance Blackmon is at 6 if that's who st louis is really going after

This couldn't be further from the truth. Cleveland made a late push offering both there first round picks, another first, and were considering the second rounder.

If they are truly targeting a wideout, I could see them trading down again and taking Floyd middle/later 1st round...if not and they wanted Kalil who they won't get, but still want an O.lineman I could see them taking the other best OT which would be the kid out of Iowa, Reiff

Don't believe everything Shefter says - if Cleveland really offered the same, Rams accept - Rams would have the 4th pick and not the 6th - Local Cleveland media has been saying for weeks now that the Browns front office wasn't that into RG3 yet ESPN keeps running stories that the Browns were going for him - I tend to believe the Local Media that has access to the team has more information than ESPN on their team

Why are the Rams trying to get Blackmon anyway? They don't have a QB. Bradford is garbage and will only be slightly less of a bust than Ryan Leaf.
