The 49'ers and Peyton Manning Would Be Deadly!

Peyton want's that 2nd and maybe 3rd Super Bowl ring? He should contact San Fransisco and they should most definitely contact him. With a defense like San Fran's, Gore, Crabtree, and Vernon Davis, the 49'ers would win the Super Bowl with Manning.

It's a warm climate and that's where he play's best. The warm climate is also easy on his neck. i don't get the talk of Washington, Cleveland, Miami, Jets....etc. Except for the Jets, he doesn't have enough playing time to win anywhere else. The Cardinals? C'mon---Wells and Fitzgerald are great but not enough.

Alex Smith was a disappointment and I know that he's made some great strides but Peyton and San Fransisco are a perfect match. I just don't get this. Indianapolis had to get rid of him even though if I were the Irsay's I would have kept him due to loyalty but now he'll be motivated. He want's to play. A lot of Miami talk going on but they need more than Marshall and Bush for Manning to win. San Fransisco's defense held the Giants in check and that's all that he need's

My bold prediction is he is gonna retire.

About a month ago, he started throwing he couldn't throw to his left because of his neck.

Peyton Manning is the Derek Zoolander of the NFL, he can't turn left. He's no longer an ambiturner.

san fran is a good fit too.....as is zona....zona has fitz and wells...and an underrated d and they could add more help via the draft...their offensive line is suspect though.....I think when you are predicting what either team would look like with manning you might have to add reggie wayne to that projection

only problem is neither team is in the afc...which were hearing, for some reason, manning prefers

    never happen

harbaugh aint letting anybody run the show

he wants to be the man

when you have peyton manning he is everything

on the colts peyton held the following positions

    quarterback-offensive coordinator-general manager

i think peyton ends up with texans or chiefs.

zero shot he ends up in san fran

not with those wr, alex smith did just fine, they would have to get a free agent wr or draft one in round 1

Top d and good running game,

Would be a big risk for SF to ditch an emerging QB and go with a 36 y/o of questionable health, but for Manning, it would certainly seem like a great situation to get into.

Irsay could have gotten 3 #1's and a #2 pick for the first draft choice and kept Manning and he didn't

I wouldn't read into that anything about Manning's health. Indy just wasn't going to pass on getting a QB that many think (right or wrong) is the best QB in a draft in a generation and they couldn't keeo them both. That simple.

Doesn't mean he IS healthy either, but it also doesn't mean he isn't.

I don't think anyone, including Manning himself, can be sure, but the upside is exciting enough for a lot of teams to be willing to give it a shot.

It would be a great match for Manning but Harbaugh is a control freak. Harbaugh is not going to hand the keys to the offence over to anyone!

Alex Smith is very unhappy with SF over Manning talks. I'm telling you again, Peyton to SF looks good and deadly.

It wud be like the eagles last season but instead of stacking on defense they're stacking on offence.

They are already stacked on offense and defense without manning.

They have Randy Moss now... Manning to Moss would be nice to watch on sundays
