Today we look at the matchup between the Ravens and Vikings.

Look beyond the scoreboard of Baltimore's 20-10 win over the Eagles and you'll see the Raven offense was clicking in all facets except the red-zone. Steve McNair connected on 14 of 18 passes for 148 yards and the Ravens actually held a 21-9 time of possession advantage in the first half.

The Ravens drove from their own 15 to the Eagle 38, but were forced to punt on their first drive after a couple of late drive miscues. The second drive took 9 minutes off the clock, but again late drive miscues led to only a FG. The final two drives included a McNair fumble and poor clock management. But the running and passing games were both clicking and we can expect another solid effort against Minnesota with added emphasis on finishing drives.

As far as the Vikings are concerned, their offense had little trouble moving the ball against the Steelers. Starting QB Brad Johnson completed 9-11 passes for 71 yards, including a 12-yard scoring strike. Backup QB Tavaris Jackson was also 9-11 in limited playing time and he led the offense on a 3rd quarter scoring drive. Jackson was 5-5 passing on the touchdown drive.

This week we look for more playing time for both Johnson and Jackson and expect the Vikings' offense to put up their share of points, also. Look for both offenses to play well and put points on the board.

    Play the Over.
