    Ricky Williams Retires. Again

    such a strange career. tremendous talent but wasted his youth. You could even argue that he was one of the top draft busts, that we never talk about in those terms. (for the saints)

    a waste in the sense that he had the physical but not the mental
    a waste in the sense that New Orleans gave up like 9 draft picks for him
    a waste in that he got paid nothing near what he was worth due to using a Rapper as an agent
    a waste in that he only had one year worthy of his talent (the first year in Miami)


    juxtaposed with the fact that he ended up with a nice career after his drug problems, and yoga hiatus. Hell not too many players can say they ran for over 10k yards.
