A lot of meaningless games. What games matter this week? Jets, Steelers...who else?

NFL teams like to finish the season on a win, plus all division rivalries. Lots of juice in these "meaningless" games.

Sometimes the "meaningless" ones are the most fun and attractive to bet on. For example: Philly vs. NYG. The Giants will want to win for "Old Tom" whether he stays or goes, and Philly is playing for their jobs. Lurie made that clear when he canned the coach with one game left!!! Just my opinion. BOL men,

But also this week is one of the most scarey weeks in the NFL. Maybe a good play would be seattle/Zona over 47.0. Personally only game I'll touch. Gonna save the roll to kill in playoffs

also the SNF game matters. Determines the divisional winner and a home playoff game.

There's too many to mention, that have playoff implications and seeding, and who keeps their job etc. I for one, like the Patriots to win, short handed or not, they control their own destiny. Teams like Denver, KC, Cinn., Pitt, the Jets, etc. all rely on somebody else.

Here is the breakdown, in no particular order:

Despite what some fools in here posted, Minnesota plays Green Bay (-3) for the NFC North Championship game. The loser faces the prospect of playing the winner at the winners home next week. A huge game for both teams. I like the Pack -3.

Jacksonville at Houston (-6). If Houston wins, they win the AFC South and host a playoff game, probably against Kansas City, who has clinched a playoff spot.

Tampa Bay at Carolina (-11). A Carolina wins gives them home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Seattle at Arizona (-6). If Carolina wins, this game becomes meaningless for Arizona, as they can do no worse than the #2 seed in the NFC. This game is very meaningful for Seattle. A Seattle win and Minnesota loss means that Seattle gets the #5 seed and a date in Washington and Minnesota gets a return trip to Lambeau Field in Green Bay. I like Seattle here.

New York Jets (-2 1/2) at Buffalo. Assuming that Pitt takes care of business at hapless Cleverland and Kansas City wins at home against the Raiders, the Jets must win to keep their playoff spot. This may be a lot easier said than done, as the Jets go to Buffalo and play a team who'se Head Coach would love nothing more than to knock out the team that fired him from the playoffs.

You could make a strong case that Jacksonville at Houston is meaningless too. Yes, Texans wrap up division with a win, but regardless it would take a nine-game parlay for the Colts to beat out Houston.
