This happens a lot in sports. Basically a team repeats who they are throughout the regular season. Basically spinning the same record they spun in the regular season...

Nfl, nba, mlb, soccer, etc, etc


Pats would fall behind and then blow it up on the other team as they game moved forward and to its conclusion.

Down 14 to the Dolphins, down 21 to the Bills with homefield on the line..

So the Pats do it again. Produce nothing in the first half, get down 9-0, and then start surging back. This has Pats 2nd half written all over it.
