Yeah- what a crazy fluke that the top-rated defense who lead the league in turnover differential throughout the regular season would continue to be able to create turnovers in the playoffs as well. Must have just been a coincidence.

punt return and kickoff return fumbles giving the niners the ball in the rz was flukey and had nothing to do with their defense... with 5 turnovers (three in the niners redzone), a good team woulda blown the saints out today
I can't remember the game, didn't the Saints give the Niners half their points from dumb turnovers.

All these guys who disagreed with me that the 49ers would beat the Saints outright are turning around trying to criticize the team for "not winning by enough" or predicting that the Packers will beat them next week. Neither of those things are relevant to the fact that they picked this game wrong.
I called the Saints a textbook square pick, and these post-game threads continue to confirm it.

Why do you keep deferring to stuff about Rodgers and Green Bay? You seem to be using this weird logic that picking a team to win one game means that you must pick them to win every game for the rest of the season. I never said anything about who I think will win the NFC Championship. What does Rodgers have to do with being right about today's game?
Some Saints backers are acting like if Green Bay goes on to beat the Niners then it will somehow prove them right in spite of losing today. As far as I saw, nobody here was justifying picking the Niners today by saying something like, "The 49ers will beat the Saints because they are an unbeatable team."
Let's see how they get exposed next week. Just remeber, it doesn't matter how the other team scores if you score more.
He didn't say FU to me, I actually went 3-0 in the game. Only made 3 prop plays and all won (Sproles over 45.5 receiving yards, Graham to score a TD - YES and Colston over 6 receptions). I made no plays at all on the game line.
