Jay Cutler Looked Really Sharp In his First game

some of you guys did call him the best QB in the 2006 draft, and jay cutler didn't disappoint at all with his first preseason action.

culter was 16 out of 22 for 192 yards and a TD. move over jake plummer, the future belongs to cutler IMO. so, how should much playing time do you think the broncos will play jay ?

I was amazed on how accurate this kid was. Plummer better watch out because Cutler is the real deal.

he looked good against basic coverages from 2nd and 3rd teamers...probably the most overhyped QB in the draft, but he might turn out to be a pretty good pro once he gets some experience...

It won't take much for him to be better than Jake "I'm Almost as Good as a One-Legged Monkey" Plummer. Cutler has the tools but Pags is right about him being in vanilla situations. Ultimately it will be his decision-making that makes or breaks him in the NFL.

dan, he'll still face guys that won't make the team this week in the 3rd quarter...if he gets some regular season action, we'll see then...on average it takes at least three years to learn NFL defenses (of course guys like Big Ben are few and far between)...
