    All 4 dogs will bite!

This is the week that all 4 underdogs will cover easily.

Saints have never won a road playoff game. SF +3.5
Pats have lost like 4 playoff games in a row. Broncos +13.5
Flacco is a mistake waiting to happen. Texans +9 (-135)
GB doesn't rhyme with defense. Giants +9 (-130)

I actually think all dogs have a great chance to win outright. I have ML bets on Broncos, Giants and 49ers.

The only team the Patriot's beat that had a winning record was the Bronco's. Pat's had the easiest schedule in the NFL.

    Wins:
    Miami 6-10
    SD 8-8
    Oakland 8-8
    Jets 8-8
    Dallas 8-8
    Jets 8-8
    KC 7-9
    Philly 8-8
    Indy 2-14
    Wash 5-11
    Den 9-8
    Miami 6-10
    Buffalo 6-10

Drew Brees not so hot in the breeze...

    Indoors Outdoors
    W-L 10-1 3-2
    Comp 72.1 69.6
    TD-Int 37-8 9-6
    Sacked 14 10

Lost at GB and TB. Brees don't like the Bays.

Great outdoors? Over the past nine weeks, when they haven't lost a game, no team in football has looked more unstoppable and invincible than the Saints. But plain and simple, New Orleans is a different team outdoors than it is indoors, which is what gives San Francisco and its fourth-ranked defense the hope it needs to pull off a playoff upset. The Saints averaged 41.1 points per game at home this season and 27.3 on the road. They gained 492.6 yards per game at home this season on average and 441.6 yards per game on the road this season on average. The Saints were 8-0 at home this season and 5-3 on the road. They gave up only eight sacks at home but 16 on the road.

The Giants are a different defensive squad when they can get Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora and Jason Pierre-Paul all on the field at once and in good health. That hasn't happened much this season, but the unit is cranking now.

Giants will be able to rush the QB...
one of the most interesting subplots will be the return of Packers left tackle Chad Clifton to full-time duty -- just in time to face one of the NFL's top players in 2011. Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul earned first-team All-Pro honors after compiling 16.5 sacks, including six in the Giants' final four regular-season games. Pierre-Paul is expected to start at right end, and when he takes a break or moves elsewhere, the Giants probably will use veteran pass-rusher Osi Umenyiora. Clifton hasn't played a full game since Week 4 because of hamstring and back injuries, and at 35 he's giving up 12 years to Pierre-Paul. But Clifton knows every veteran trick in the book, and he has traditionally fared well against elite pass-rushers, most notably Jared Allen. The Packers trust Clifton to figure out a way to keep the pass rush away from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Texans will make Flacco look like Flucco...
Defending the middle of the field: Will Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco be able to throw to his favorite area of the field? Accoring to ESPN stats and Info, Flacco has completed 64.3 percent of his throws inside the numbers this season compared with 51.3 percent outside. The Texans allowed the fewest touchdown passes (three) and lowest completion percentage (56.8) inside the numbers this season. They also grabbed 11 of their 17 interceptions in that territory. Safety play has a huge bearing on these numbers, vast improvements over what the 2010 Texans did. Watch Glover Quin and Danieal Manning patrolling the middle of the field.

You forget to add that the game they lost was the only one against the current roster, which they lost 45-17 last december.

    True.

But the Packer's defense and running game are both suspect. Same for the Giants but I'd give them the nod when healthy. That really doesn't bode well. I think the Giants will rewind the KC tape and serve up a bunch of 3 and outs. I also don't like Rodgers sitting the last game. Echoes of Indianapolis resting starters then sucking eggs.

Who did the Packers play this year? This is another team that had a very weak schedule IMO. Their best win was the Saints in game 1 then after that it would be against the Giants which they should have lost if NY didn't turn the ball over twice. Detroit is flawed and so was Atlanta when they played them. Packers benefited by playing teams when they were down (Chargers, Minny, Chicago, Denver). They haven't been playing real well in the past few weeks IMO. They are limping into the playoffs and expect to turn it on?

    Let's cash this bitch...

1/15/12 4:30pm NFL Football 115 New York Giants +285* vs Green Bay Packers
1/14/12 4:30pm NFL Football 110 San Francisco 49ers +165* vs New Orleans Saints
1/14/12 8:00pm NFL Football 111 Denver Broncos +575* vs New England Patriots
1/15/12 1:00pm NFL Football 113 Houston Texans +300* vs Baltimore Ravens

I really hate to go against Drew Brees as he's hot as a volcano but maybe he'll slow down in the elements. I was hoping for inclement weather but it looks to be a great weekend for football. Maybe a wind storm comes up out of nowhere...

This is some of the most flawed logic I've read on this game.
1)The giants don't have the secondary KC does-that loss had alot more do to with GB's receivers dropping passes than KC pressure-but ok the giants whose secondary is suspect will get it done KC style.Like they did the last time.
2)Indy lost their last game GB didn't & GB beat a playoff team (with everything to gain by winning)with their backup QB & missing several key D players. While the Gmen beat the craptacular Cowgirls & the Jets. Seriously those 2 teams are bad & injured.
    3) GB's D forced those T.O's.---no Eli slipped those were bad breaks [/sarcasm]
    4) Yeah GB played everyone at just the right time & nobody was interested in playing their A game vs the reigning SB champion. Right the NYG's played in their last 4 regular season games Dallas(x2),Jets,Redskins yeah their rollin-------NYG's beat 2 teams with a winning record NE & ATL
GB beat N.O. atl det(x2) & the NYG & the afc west winner DENVER but they didn't
play anyone & apparently winning 21 of your last 22 is limping in to the playoffs.
    Last----- Rodger's Packers vs the NYG's 2-0 8td's 1int & 121.2 passer rating.
    BOL to you

The Pack have been impressive no doubt but they haven't been blowing anyone out and look flawed even in victory. Yes they did play teams at the right time. ATL and Denver were both hot messes when GB beat them but you have to play who's in front of you so I tip my cap. I just see holes in this team despite their winning. I don't have a dog in the fight so BOL to you as well my friend.

Broncos vs Patriots - Temp: 20 degrees F, Wind: NW 10-15 mph Pats are 31-7 when the temp is 34 degrees or colder. 22-4 when 30 degrees or less (should drop down to 8 degrees)

Giants vs Packers - Temp: 30 degrees F, Wind: S 10-15 mph, Pack 7-1 playoff games 30 degrees or colder, 6-1 games in the 20's.

Wins and losses don't always tell the story...

    15Sun, Dec 18

    Box Score | Play-By-Play16Sun, Dec 25

    Box Score | Play-By-Play17Sun, Jan 1

Box Score | Play-By-PlayThey lose to KC, then Chicago who is offensively deficient out gained them 441 to 363 total yards. If it wasn't for 2 turnovers and 2 flukey bombs this game was closer than most would think. The last game is an unkown since Rodgers didn't play but still shows that their defense sucks. Plus sitting Rodgers IMO was a huge mistake. I'd call that limping. We shall soon see.
