Because they watched the Atlanta game, because the last game was close and they think it will be again, because they can only remember last week and already forgot about the Packers.

Can you believe the Public has turned their back on the Packers.

It's not that people have turned their back on the Packers, it's that the Giants may have the best chance of upsetting them of any team in the playoffs, and people are right to realize that. Rodgers may HAVE to have what has become a typical game for hm just for the Packers to win the game, never mind cover, and that may not be easy with the Giants great defensive line harassing hm all game without blitzing, meaning coverage down field should still be decent. Remember that the Giants have the MUCH better defense and running game, and it speaks volumes for just how great Rodgers is that the Packers will probably win the game anyway.

People are stupid, they don't realize anything.

If Giants win 3-2 over Atlanta in a super ugly game they would be all over the Packers.

What you said changes absolutely nothing of what I said. The Giants are the only team in the playoffs with a chance to beat Green Bay, period. Thus, all the Giant love.

lakerboy I believe greenbay runs a west coast offense which by memory I believe theGiants have a hard time with, not only that when greenbay starts throwing to their tight ends and passing long Ibelieve the Giants will not be able to stay with them great pick I agree ,I not only will I be playing them flat i am going to tease and parley them with the Pats, if things go right I should be up many dollars for the year. thats the ticket.

Gotcha now. But it is actually a valid point that if Giants play the same way as they did vs. Falcons, they have a real chance here because Green Bay defense is worse than Atlanta's and Packers' offensive line issues could allow New York DL to succeed again. In other words, the current public perception seems to be correct.

If they can't they have no chance at all.
Offensive line issues? GB is healthier than they have been in a while. What has changed that the Giants are public darlings--------GB's D is being disrespected badly here.Giants backers are about take it up a**

Did the ''public'' not watch the Dallas @ Giants game? I thought that Dallas was a better team than Atlanta. Why did everyone not jump ship on the Giants last week? And Lakerboy I have 3 reasons. They can get pressure with 4, they have a great passing game/deep threat, and they should be able to run the ball effectively and they then can limit green bay to 8 or 9 possessions.

The Giants have the best defensive line. Better than the offseason hyped Lions defensive line.

Packers should win at Lambeau field.

Crazy how people say the Giants have the much better defense then the Packers. Packers defense ranked 9th in nfc and the Giants ranked 12th total. Giants defense played decent vs the Jets not exactly a high powered offense. And vs the Cowboys with a qb playing with a hand the size of a watermelon. Course they did shut the Falcons down. Course alot of that had to do with a couple questionable calls on 4th and inches. Falcons really blew some chances to score in that game. I still don't think this Giants defense is as good as people think. Rodgers will carve them up. Course the Giants offense should be able to put up some points so they might cover. I still like the over in this game.

Giants defensive line hasn't been fully healthy until now, so with the Giants at full strength, yes their defense is much better than Green Bay's. All that matters in this game though is the ability of the New York defensive line to put pressure on Rodgers, and they can do that now. If they don't, then yes Rodgers will carve up any defense.

Read post 91, line hasn't really been in tact until now. Giants DL at full strength IS one of the best in the NFL, there is no disputing that.

With Usi back they add depth and the ability to move Tuck and Pierre-.... Nevermind I could explain it but i would probably get some stat from the week 1 game against the Redskins when the Giants lost on the road to Rex Grossman when both Tuck and Usi were out. Some people just don't understand the importance of Injuries.

what is your explanation for saying you will leave the forum for good if Packers make the super bowl? yet you bet $2,500 on them to make the NFC championship?

you think Packers are a lock to lose to the 49ers/saints?

laker boy!!! Gave you love in today's blog...

I can’t see this game being a blowout as in the past month the G-men have turned a corner and Brandon Jacobs is running like it’s 2008 again, which sets up Bradshaw as much as the passing game. Not to mention, anyone that watched last week saw how well rounded the Giants are both on and off the field. On the field they flat out beat the Falcons and off the field there was a little something offered by the G-men to every viewer. Men everywhere got to see a bruising defense, women were watching to see if Victor Cruz was going to break out his Salsa dance and, by games end, the kids were treated to 45 Angry Birds leaving the field.

So they can't win this game and lose the next one? Giants already lost to sf and the saints. Those teams are a step above the giants. Do u know that sf and nor will not be +8 or +9 at gb?

Giants are a dangerous team...I like the points even teasing them on a 10 point teaser, this will not be a blowout. I can see an out right win with the Giants, just because there healthy and playing there best defense of the season, and you have to consider the Packers O-line is banged up. I am all over the Giants here....Best of Luck!!

serious question for you 2.....if 68% of the public were on the Packers, would this still be a Packers play for the both of you?

even you LB....i know you hate "public" plays.....68% on GB. what do you do?
