Flacco really is a bum, so inconsistent and thats the last thing you need in the playoffs. I gotta go with Brees vs Brady in the superbowl

I would give the Steelers a much better chance of beating the Pats (and the Saints/Packers for that matter). They are really the only team who are solid on both sides of the ball. The Ravens have a great D but the game has changed so much that you need to have more production on the offense to be able to compete.

Incorrect....Ray Rice is a stud. He will equalize things and open up Baltimore passing game against any defense.

Raven's quarterback is average... but I still like them to win the AFC.

I do think that the Ravens are the best team on that side. I really do not see anyone close to capable of knocking them out. A dark horse candidate to give them a tussle will be Houston.

The other side of the bracket is an absolute crap shoot. But I do not discount the Saints at all. I think they are the most complete offensive team in the whole thing and their dominance on third down on both sides of the ball is what separates them from everyone else on that side.

The Saints are hard to get off the field and pretty tough to stay on it against. They rank #1 offensively and # 2 defensively on third down conversions. That is probably the most overlooked stat in football handicapping.

For those of you considering an over play on that ridiculous total in the Lions/Saints game, keep in mind that the Lions are #1 defensively in third down conversions. That alone make the over dead in the water for me.

Flacco is more than capable of managing a game. Ray Rice is more than capable of dominating one.

They are the most well rounded team on that side.

    The Drill??

    The way it works???

That would be some real solid reasoning if this was machine shop.

It is your opinion at this point and you surely are entitled. I was merely wondering if you had anything to lean it against.

Nice work on the Denver future BTW.

thanks billy. Your right, nothing exact or scientific here. Just extremely difficult to beat a division opponent 3 times in the same season. Then you factor in that this division opponent is the afc champion pittsburgh steelers

Just the opposite is true. It comes up every season and it's simply wrong.

That trend would make the Ravens more likely to win, not less. It suggests that the Ravens match up well with the Steelers.

You have that much faith in Cameron, offensive coordinator for the Ravens? That guy has no clue how to call a game, how else can you explain Rice getting less then 20 touches in two consecutive road losses? He's a hair better then Schotenheimer for the Jets and that isn't saying much!

Ravens being in the SB would completely kill the entertainment value of the game, imho.
