Now that reggies the man cuz of duece injuries, will he live up to the hype? Does any books offer props for this?

I don't think he will rush for a 1,000 yards.

He mainly got the dump passes last year, and I don't think he's durable enough for the NFL style game to accomplish that feat. The team speed in this league is much greater than it is in the college ranks.

He'll get a lot of TDs but not too many 100 yard games...

No way he rushes for 1,000 in his career in any year. He is no Warrick Dunn.

I think he will. He'll probably have a monster game along the way where he just breaks a few long runs. That will help offset his slow start.

You only have to average 62.5 yards a game over a 16 game season to get 1000 yards. Realistically any back who is a clear cut #1 should run for 1000 yards.

No way in hell he will run for a 1000. I wish I could place a bet somewhere on that. That is money in the bank. They are going to use him more and mark my words he will get hurt. To small to play as much as they are going to use him at the position.... Guaranteed!!!

I don't think so. And 1,000yds isn't all that special anymore.

    62.5 yds per game. Average.

    Reggie Bush is so overrated

Reggie Bush is so overrated. Bush is not is good as hyped. He is a product of the NFL hype machine. The NFL did this when Michael Vick entered the league, and the truth came out about Vick. Putting Vick's personal problems aside, he was an average QB, but great athlete. This is the same story for Reggie Bush. Bush is good player, not great. The things he did in college were amazing, but he was doing it against college players. It’s harder to run to the outside in the NFL, and everyone is fast, or even faster than he is. What is he? A WR, RB? He is a man without a position. What happen when Duce got hurt? They put Aaron Stecker in the backfield instead of him. Reggie Bush was compare to Gale Sayers in college, not even close. Bush should be compared to players like Warrick Dunn, Eric Metcalf, Brian Westbrook, and Roger Craig. Don’t get me wrong, Bush is a solid football player. He will gain 1000 yds rushing a few times in his career make a few Pro Bowls. He is a good player, not a transcending player like the NFL wants you to believe.

He'll get to 1000 easy. I've seen him take big hits because he goes in the air, he has to avoid that to stay healthy in the NFL. But even after he gets hit I've seen him come back and run hard.

Reggie has 770 yard with the Dolphins so far, just need to average 76. He might have a big game against the Bills, and the Patriot will probably put him over top. Bumping this thread because it was probably my first 20 post after joining SBR in 2007, damn it's been that long.
