    How are the 49ers 10-2?

I realize they play in a sh*t division, but they are terrible. The defense can't do it all

They embarassed the eagles. In philly. Thats good enough for me.

Balance. Great D, especially in the trenches. Good special teams and an improved offense.

Any team who plays that way will be ok.

Multiple wins on the east coast too which most teams struggle to do.

They play in the NFC West. All they do is kick FG's. David Akers is their best player. They'll be exposed in the playoffs when Alex Smith will be forced to throw down field. All Alex Smith does is hand off to Gore/Hunter and checkdown.

I stayed away from the niners today because it seemed like they could be in for a letdown. They wrapped up the division and conceivably cannot catch the packers for home-field advantage. In addition, there offense isn't explosive. If you stop the run and force Alex to beat you, he probably won't. I think the niners are still a good qb away from competing seriously for a superbowl

Im a homer. Im a season ticket holder.

Youre all right. Our offense isnt great. But we've yet to get blown out.

Dduncecap, you can fire off as many stats as you want. You cant say you wouldnt be proud of this team if you were a fan.

killed me too... 9-1 on the day, waiting on them... of course they were my biggest bet of the day, so the profits are minimal

SF is just an old fashioned team. Run, Run, Run, Run, Run and Kick FG's. And plays great defense. Only problem is, as good as SF's defense is, they aren't good enough to hold Rodgers, Brees, Brady, etc. under 21 points.
