Good stuff -- you are a man of your word

I would have to check the last episode to be sure, but I don't remember the "bloodbath" comment as limited to teasers. However, I can see where Doc could get hurt on teasers because his credit shops will give you two team Wong teasers for -110 while most books are at -120 these days.

However, as we all agree, the books aren't going BK anytime unless they are incompetent in their line making and adjustments. Doc knows what he's doing, so he'll be just fine.

Good work. Looking forward to next week's episode.

Here are some more questions to ask:

With the books losing on Wong teasers more and more, are they going to uniformly make the switch to -120 across the board at every book? God forbid, but are they thinking about going higher than -120?

How does Doc think the NBA lockout will affect scoring and will we see an extra point or two adjustment on NBA totals? In the NFL, scoring was up for the first three weeks and overs dominated. Does he think that trend will correlate to the NBA or does he think the opposite will occur?

Are line moves strictly the result of money coming in or do books really try "head-fakes" where they will move their lines trying to make bettors think there is RLM/sharp action on one side when really there isn't?

    Thanks

Maybe in Vegas. What offshores charge -120? Almost all the big offshores charge -110, they just shade certain Wong candidates to protect themselves (i.e. Pinny, 5Dimes, BOL, etc.). CRIS also charges -110.

Back in the day, you could get these at +100, so -110 isn't exactly a bargain, and -120 is a rip-off.

The books will be going to -120. That is what Doc is talking about when he says "the new rules of teasers." As you know, Wong teasers lose profitability at odds exceeding -110. If you believe Doc, the books got killed on Wong teasers this season and will be moving in unison to -120 odds in order to take this advantage away from the players.
