Patriots TWENTY ONE point favorites over the Colts

Ive been a serious sports bettor for 5+ years, and this is the highest point spread ive ever seen for an NFL game. Can any one remember a larger number?

Highest I ever saw was the year the Patriots had the undefeated regular season. Late in the year they were -17 and -18 in some games.

This beats even that, because no team on their schedule that year was nearly as bad as the 2011 Colts.

Taking the colts. The patriots defense is terrible still, so the colts should be able to score.

I recall in 2007 I was getting more than that on both Baltimore and Philly. Are the easy money days coming back? Hope they're favored like that later against someone who has actually won a game.

That is a ridiculous line. But the scaring part is I don't even think I could trust Indy at +21.

^ You're not getting a team you would trust at +21.

I love it. Did you read the Brandon Lang quote. Here it is

"The line for the Patriots-Eagles game was immediately set at 17 points -- and the big bettors, the sports syndicate guys, jumped on it, bet it hard," said Brandon Lang, whose life was depicted by Matthew McConaughey in the movie "Two for the Money" and is regarded as the nation's leading sports handicapper.

Brandon Lang regarded as the nation's leading sports handicapper?

Man, that whore sure knows how to sell himself.

I didn't even see that because I was just looking at the beginning of the article.

"You add the fact that Donovan McNabb is injured and you have the perfect storm," said a bookie in South Philadelphia who asked not to be identified.
    Gee, I wonder why.

How the hell did ESPN choose who to contact for this story?
