Let me preface this by saying yes, I know lakerboy is big on the Jets. And yes, I hate Tim Tebow. Guy has cost me a fortune through the years; I've been trying to fade him since his days at Florida, all the way through last week. Never seems to work.
I realize Denver's margin for error is very small here, as we saw in the DET game when they were absolutely ripped to shreds. However, I look at it like this:
The Jets just played a huge SNF tilt at home against the Pats. Big, emotional game. They're still in it in the fourth quarter, only to get curb-stomped late. Demoralizing loss. Sanchez was, well, Sanchez. Unreliable and unpredictable.
Now they're on short rest, heading into the thin air. I'm not saying Denver wins this game SU, but I think Tebow and the boys cover. Let's face facts: the guy has 7 TD's and 1 INT. He's not going to set the world on fire with his passing, but Denver has adjusted its offense accordingly so that he doesn't have to.
As long as the Broncos don't do anything foolish and fall behind big with early turnovers, I think they cover. It won't be easy, but I like Denver +6.
