It snowed last night in Calgary don't know how well the playing field is but it was icy as hell when the snow stopped falling. Was -7 overnight and game time temperature will be 0 degree celsius so don't see anything thawing. With crappy field and temperature comes low score and tight games hopefully.
Winnipeg's defense has been winning them games and it's their defense that should keep this game within 7. They've also had 2 games to evaluate Drew Tate.
Winnipeg is playing for the 1st round bye while Calgary is playing for home field advantage in the 1st round iff B.C loses. So Winnipeg is in more control of their fate and they desperately need a week off to rest some of their injured players playing hurt.
* if Winnipeg wins this game bet BC Lions to win as Montreal will rest Calvillo and their starters for next weeks game against Hamilton.
I like the under 26.5 for 2nd half. I haven't watched the first 21 minutes of the game but backup quarterback playing for Winnipeg and 4 turnovers in 1st half resulting in lots of points. They may also start resting some players.
