The Saints pulled the wool over our eyes

I just want to congratulate them on the most pathetic performance in NFL history.

I sincerely doubt anyone has ever lost by 20+ to an 0-6 team at this point in the season who is also without their starting QB.

Yeah... I'm not sure... if the Saints' players don't donate their paychecks for this game to charity, they can suck my balls. They really just didn't plan on playing today.

I was fortunate to have Rams +13 1/2. Just when you think you have the NFL figured out, change gears immediately.

DOWN 24 LATE IN THE 3rd QUARTER AND THEY RUN 3 straight times???

DOWN 24 LATE IN THE 3rd QUARTER AND THEY RUN 3 straight times???

DOWN 24 LATE IN THE 3rd QUARTER AND THEY RUN 3 straight times???

Is this some kind of joke? They're not even trying to win.

It was the uniforms. Rams went back to the old blue and yellow.

Yes. There are never upsets in the NFL. Big road favourites win every game, and winless teams might as well just not show up...

the saints have lost 3 games heading back to last season by double digits against terrible teams (the browns, the cardinals and now STL)

just not a trustworthy team at all in these situations

Laying -13 on the road is not a situation anyone should be betting on, regardless of who the team is...

    Yea I agree

there's maybe 3 teams in the last 10 years of the NFL where you could comfortably lay 13 points on the road against a terrible team (2004 Colts, 2007 Pats, 2011 packers)

Pack couldnt cover 10 last week on the road and they didnt cover 10 on the road against Carolina earlier in the year, basically its not a good bet to wager double digits on the road in the NFL nor any sport IMO.

neither one of those teams are really that bad (Carolina/Minnesota have lost 2 combined games by double digits)

I was talking about road games like this where the home team hasn't even been competitive for most of the season

You just don't lay DD on the road in the NFL. Ever. I don't care if one hits from time to time -- it's a bad bet regardless of the team/spot.

Kerry the square probably had Saints ML in a single play and Saints ML in 4 or 5 different parlays. Oh and let's not forget that he used them in a few 5 team 10 point teasers.

aints struggled on their previous road trip, why would you think it smart to lay 2 td's?

Actually just put them in a teaser.

Why don't you start another thread touting Northwestern +4 as your biggest play and then remind us how amazing you are at betting PSU games?

I didn't. I put them in a teaser, basically just to win.

You clowns can bash the play all you want... Saints to basically just win against an 0-6 team starting AJ Feeley is never a bad proposition.

I'm surprised the Saints didn't even try today, but oh well. If the Steelers can hold on, I'm even on the day. Losing bets happen.

The Saints are not good covering when on the road. They always struggled with road games.

The Saints almost beat the Packers at Packers and then get blown out at Rams.

No one saw this coming. I guess I should have teased the Rams to +28 if I had to choose a side in this game, but if the Saints come prepared, they could beat AJ Feeley by 4 touchdowns.

That Packers game was first game of the season, anything could happen. Historically Im sure road favs of 10 or more are less than 50% and Im sure its a lot less than that, so its not a good bet. Oddsmaker knew many would be gassed off of Monday night.
