    Week 6 - Saints only -4.5 (vs Bucs)

    That must be a mistake... does 5dimes or whatever bookie sets their lines REALLY think the Saints suck that bad... this line should be Saints -10.5...

    You know everyone is going to bet on the Saints since Tampa Bay got smashed by the 49ers but the Saints have a fukking horrible defense and it's a divisional game in Tampa so it would not surprise me one bit if the Bucs cover. The key man here is LeGarrette Blount, if he can run over the soft Saints D which I believe he can than the Bucs can easily cover.

    There's no such thing as a trap line. People just look at a line and say "Shit... I think the Saints should be favoured by a touchdown, but the line is only -4. The books must know something I don't so I'll take the dog to outsmart them". Then they get upset when the favourite wins by 10 because they knew it was a trap all along and they "fell for it"...

    The Saints being favoured by more than a field goal on the road in a division game is not an unreasonable line if you like the Bucs to play to their potential. Personally I feel like the Bucs recent anemic passing game and tendency to give up big passing plays make the Saints a bad matchup at a time when their confidence is shaky and they lack the veteran leadership to right the ship in a week. I think the Saints mop the floor with the Bucs here.

    I'd say 95% Chance Blount don't play... Graham is not half the runner Blount is.. I think with Blount out, The Bucs really dont have a shot...


    Bucs coach Raheem Morris hinted Monday that he doesn't anticipate LeGarrette Blount (knee) playing Sunday against the Saints.

    "I don't want to rule (Blount) out, but I'm not looking at him. It is what it is. Next man up," said Morris. "I'd like to get more detailed information on him. I'll call him day-to-day for now." The St. Petersburg Times expects Earnest Graham to receive "a bulk of the carries" against New Orleans, with Kregg Lumpkin and Allen Bradford also in the mix for work.

    As I said earlier with Blount being out I think it hurts TB alot... also Not sure what it means but Bodog has a line out for every game next week except for the TB/Saints game.. Not sure why? I'm no expert...

    7 is unlikely, but wouldn't be undeserved. I wouldn't be surprised to see it creep up to -5.5/-6 by kickoff (A fairly meaningless 1.5 point move) but people seem to still be so optimistic about the Bucs potential, which I just don't understand... Their success last season was predicated on them playing one of the easiest (if not THE easiest) schedule in the NFL and this season they've faced 2 good teams in DET/SF and three weak teams in ATL/IND/MIN.
