Aaron Rodgers is the greatest professional football player of all-time?

    You need to change prescriptions.

You want mobility and high football IQ? Staubach and Steve Young----and neither of those are in the top 10 of all-time great QBs let alone consideration for the greatest player of all-time.

2nd and 18, up 8 points, 6 minutes to go, pinned back on the 12...

99% of teams play it safe...

Rodgers just gets the first and ends the game...

Rodgers is not the best player ever.

Put him on the Bears and he'd struggle. He'd have no offensive line, no WR's, no tight ends.

Rodgers has a ridiculous amount of talent on his offense. You really think he'd do this well on other teams?

No, Jennings is one of the best WR in football and Finley is one of the best tight ends in football. They also have a lot of complimentary receivers like Jones and that little white bitch.

49ers fans have to be so mad the Niners drafted Alex Smith instead of Rodgers.

I think Rodgers is more happy that the 9ers DIDN'T draft him, he woulda struggled with the Niners poor talent level and dearth of decent coaching.

But bein a Packer fan, it sure is fun watching Rodgers every week with all of those weapons out there. To me, the debate is already over for now with Brady being king.

I have to say that Rodgers looks like the best ever. He has the accuracy and grit of Brady, head-smarts of Manning, mobility of a Roger Staubach, win-at-all costs style of Montana. And he did it tonight with two starting tackles out, and all of last year with no premier receivers.

this may be a bit of an overstatement, but i think rodgers will go down as the better of the two green bay qbs.

if you think about it, what all does he have to do, win another super bowl? that would do it.

he could also pray his dad dies so he can have a mammoth monday night game and get tons of press off it until the end of time. favre had those "legend" charastics, but i'd be shocked if rodgers doesn't win more championships than favre. if nothing else rodgers has probably thrown about half as many interceptions than favre did in his first 4 years or however long aaron has been starting. eli manning reminds me more of favre than rodgers. lots of yards, lots of interceptions, a ring, and i'm out...

I agree. I love how he is using those hard counts to make the defense tip their hand. That wasn't even a bad last pass. He thought Jennings would turn to his outside shoulder and Jennings turned to the inside. The guy lost nothing from the layoff.

That sounds like Manning (Peyton and Eli). I think he's a great QB but Brady hasn't done much in the playoffs but beat 8-8 Denver since the defense has sucked. We shall see what he does next week.

A quarterback can never be the greatest football player..

That position is too depended on others...
