I thought the NFL OT rules changed?

Was under the impression you cant win on a FG on the first drive... wasnt this implemented last year?

Only for the playoffs..... what is up with that ! The rules should be the same from the beginning of the season to the very end.

Is this true? Why the hell would they have different rules only for the playoffs. I understand changing the rules to disallow a tie in the playoffs, but if the rule change makes the game more fair; then why not implement it for the entire season? This is the insane. Am I the only one that thinks this is ludircous.

^ I Agree i think it's BS that the teams IN the playoffs could be determined on different rules than when you get in to the playoffs. one team could lose 2 or 3 games in one season on OT fieldogals. it is stupid
