in a matchup that actually mattered, new orleans destroyed tampa by 25 in Tampa early in the season. You're right about the 2009 GB game though (although I would argue that the 2011 Falcons are better than 2009 GB)

but still, you're looked at 1 legitimate time that Tampa has beaten a good team by TD+ in about 34 games. What are the chances of it happening again???
I'd beg to differ a bit as Brees played a fair amount in that game, though, I do recognize that game as a week 17 affair, so ok -- scratch it.

[Your original post said 3-4 years, not 34 games (2 years)... but whatever, the point is moot.]

I like the first two legs of this teaser. Just be careful with the Falcons; it's not a horrible play, but far from the greatest tease I've ever seen -- sh*t, there were better teases last week (Lions specifically).

There's nothing terribly appealing on the board jumping out at me at the moment... Have my eye on some totals though.

Boise - 28 (teased down to 22) is a money play in college

boise hasn't beaten a bad team by less than 30 at home since 2009 in a game against UC davis and it's only happened once in that time period

Tulsa is just terrible and they will be playing with a backup QB who had like a 20 passer rating in limited action last week. I think boise will win that game by 40-50 and I can't believe the line is only 28

trusting atl on the road against a tb team thats good at home isn't much better

if it were me i'd just leave it at 2 teams

how is tampa getting all this love all of a sudden???

tampa was a good fourth quarter away from being 0-2. They are 0-4 heading back to last season vs good teams at home and they haven't beaten Atlanta since 2008. A win by tampa here would really surprise me, a TD+ win would be an absolute shocker

the saints have beaten like 7 good teams by a large margin over the last few seasons, tampa has done it once (a 10 pt win against greenbay in 2009)

    what a terrible comparison

Tampa is a good team, Brah. They weren't 10-6 last year by mistake. They've proven it through 2 weeks in 2011.

Nevertheless, this game should be close and it's worth the tease to get all the key numbers with Atlanta.

Haha, how odd that you werent touting that Saints statistic last week. I'm comparing how cocky and confident you are this week to last week chief, not comparing the teams. Pay attention.

nearly all their wins last year were against terrible teams and they should be 0-2 this year. Minnesota choked away what should have been an easy win

Atlanta should be 3-4 point favorites in this game, the fact that they're underdogs is pretty awesome

Falcons are at their best when playing at home.
The Bucs cover the spread at home against the Falcons in past history.

the bucs have failed to cover the spread both of the last 2 times playing at home against atlanta (4pt loss and 10 pt loss). They blew out Atlanta back in 2008 but that's 3 years ago when the personnell on both teams was (more than likely) vastly different

tampa is 0-5 their last 5 matchups against Atlanta. A probability of a loss here is low

They are also a good 4th quarter away from losing you $$$. Maybe you can tease it down to only include the 1st three quarters.

you can't deny the fact that Tampa was lucky as hell to get away with a win in that game against minnesota

they played absolutely terrible for majority of that game. If they play like that against Atlanta, they will lose by 30

How did Atlanta do in their first road game this season?

Coming off an emotional SNF home win over Philly -- no thanks.

    how so???

they faced a great bears defense in week 1 that dominated the atlanta offensive line and they faced a team with the best offense and best secondary in the league and still found a way to win against the eagles in week 2

tampa is not in the same class as philly and they certainly don't have the kind of defense the bears have. Tampa has been outplayed in 2 games so far and was really dominated in week 1 against detroit. You gonna sit there and tell me detroit has the capacity to be 2 touchdowns better than atlanta???

Im not tryin to jinx ur bet or anythin but pats and steelers look realy good to me on your teaser, but atl to me is the weakest of the 3. Tampa isnt as bad as you advertise, and atlanta could be punchdrunk off that win vs the eagles..

I know the bears defense is solid but, atl made alot of mistakes in that game. I like atl +7.5 anyone would. But I feel a trap here.
