Okay, not sure if you knew this, but KC lost by about 40 points last week. How does teasing them against the Chargers help? They could easily lose 42-3. I would feel a whole lot safer teasing the Chargers down to -9, than the Chiefs up to +23.

As for my plays, I really like Saints -4. Drew Brees is on another level right now, and he is at home. I'd take Drew Brees' Saints -4 against almost any team but maybe the Eagles, Packers, Patriots, Chargers. Houston is yet to be tested (have played Indi and Miami), I think Brees and company win this one by at least a TD.

Also like Atlanta +1.5, Lions -3.5, and Steelers -10.5.

I wouldn't feel safe with chiefs +35 points after seeing the bills and lions games.

this is stolen from another website i like: not sure if i'm gonna play the chiefs, but this capper had me thinking.

    2. In terms of just covering, it's good when a team loses by more than 28 points - underdogs in this situation are 55-30 against the spread since 2002, excluding the weird Week 17 games. As you can imagine, teams that get "blowed out" have the line heavily inflated against them, since no one wants to bet on them.

    3. But Kansas City has been "blowed out" twice. Even better. Teams that have lost by 28-plus in two consecutive games are 3-1 against the spread since 2002. Furthermore, teams that have a losing margin of 70 points or more in consecutive contests are 2-0 ATS in the same span. Both the 2002 Cardinals and 2009 Titans were destroyed twice in a row, and both came back with straight-up victories.

DO NOT DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you havnt noticed KC has lost everything - best defensive player, best offensive player, QB is broke as S&% right now and Todd Haley may be fired. Look at the last 4 games (reg season & playoff game) and you will understand why even I (biggest fan ever) wouldnt touch them at +23!!!!!!!!!!!!!
