I realize betting on Romo is a crapshoot but he is a much better quarterback than Alex smith, the cowboys are coming off a game where they go into the 4th quarter against the Jets with a 14 point lead and they still end up losing, I read a stat that they were 241-1-1 when leading by 14+ in 4th quarter. Dallas actually looked great against the jets and had excellent stats, but Romo basically lost this one.

Dallas has to be fired up to win this, being in a division with a much improved Redskins and with arguably one of the best teams in football with the Eagles, your chances of making the playoffs by starting off 0-2 are going to be slim. I wasnt that impressed with the Niners, alot of there points came from Ginns returns and this game was actually 19-17 and pretty close before Seattle decides to kick to Ginn. Outside of Ginn, alot of people find the niners a rather dull team to watch, sort of like the offensively challenged Giants in baseball. The Niners really had a very poor game against Seattle, struggling to move the ball on offense. Seattle actually had more first downs and Seattle passed for 155 yards and the Niners only passed for 124 yards.

Some people think Harbaugh represents a new era,we will see. One thing is for sure, the Niners are going to have to pass the ball at some point with Dallas banged up secondary and the strength of Dallas with their rushing defense.The Cowboys only allowed the Jets 45 rushing yards as as Sean Lee and DeMarcus Ware were just beast on defense. Even with Dallas missing Terence Newman and Orlando Scandrick and one of their best cover specialists Mike Jenkins having shoulder problems, I just dont know if Alex smith can take advantage.

Baltimore -5.5 -110 risk 1.10

I have no problems laying this number on the road,Baltimore is agood road team going 14-8-2 in their last 24 road games overall and looked unstoppable against Pitt. The Titans and Chris Johnson looked lost against a pretty average defense in Jacksonville, Johnson had all of 24 yards, what in Gods name are they going to do against the Ravens? Hasselback is going to really struggle against ed reed and lewis and suggs, and Tennessee's usually strong defense let Luke McCown absolutely torch them in the secondary. One of the great things about the Ravens this year is they actually have a strong offense, I really dont see where the points are going to come from for the Titans.



Redskins -3.5 -105 risk 3.15

Arizona won their opener but got absolutely torched by newton for 422 yards, and could have easily lost that game if Carolina wasn't such a weak team this year. I was this stat this morning , since 2008, Arizona is 5-10-2 as road dog and coming across the country to face a pretty good Redskins team is not going to be easy.

Packers -10 -118 risk 3.54

I started off this season as having the Carolina Panthers as on of the worst teams in the NFL , and I still believe that even though Newton may change my mind. Today we find out.

Falcons +117 Risk 1

Looking at the the numbers , Vick whad a good day passing against a weak st louis pass rush, but it was on ground where they did the damage to the Rams. I dont think that score was really indicative of the game, the Rams just looked pathetic on offense. I think you have to take into account Atlanta is a one of toughest home teams as well, Matt Ryan has taken over from Vick and gone 20-2 at home. 20-2! I am not going to put much on this game though, The Eagles have dominated the Falcons under Andy reid,going 8-1 against Atlanta, and may end up justifying the hype.
