4th sack with 10 minutes left in the 2nd Q. This wasn't even a Ninja attack, this was a Big Dumb Elephant play.

    [9/12] Oakland-Denver Over 42 [-103]
Until I see Denver stop somebody, I'm not going to think this team is going to start playing defense just because they have a new system and new coach. I think the Raiders will have success running again against this team. Denver wants to run just like Fox wanted to do in Carolina and they have a stable of RBs to do it. Both teams should go after questionable secondaries here and I think that leads to some big plays as well.

    [9/18] Ninja Play #4: Packers-Panthers Over 45 [-105]
Panthers secondary gave up plenty against Kolb and the Cards last week. See no reason why Rodgers won't absolutely decimate this defense. Newton should be able to make enough plays against a Green Bay defense that was gouged in the air as well to give this a legit opportunity. See GB with 30 or so. I think if Carolina can snag a couple TDs, this is done just like the Ninjas like it ... quick.

I see Carolina being behind a lot again, so Newton should get to throw a lot. I can see the Panthers getting 14-17. Maybe even a bit more if this Packers D maybe isn't quite as good as most people think. Admittedly, getting shredded by Drew Brees isn't exactly cause for alarm, but from a defense everyone thought was quite good to give up 34 in the opener is not the best of starts. This week probably shows more of who they really are.

Ninja Play #5: Tampa Bay QB Josh Freeman Total Completions Over 18.5 [-115]
Bucs already look like their running game is struggling and that is the one thing Minnesota did well against San Diego defensively in Week 1, control the running game. Think that means Freeman should get plenty of opportunities if the running game bogs down again. Maybe won't see the 43 attempts Freeman got last week as TB tried to rally from a deficit, but if the Bucs let Freeman throw 30+ times, I like this to cash.

Missed the late game kickoffs, but wasn't sold on anything in particular. Gonna take a look at half time lines perhaps. Also looking at tonight's game with my boys ... probably prop plays only there. Hate betting sides-totals when my team is involved.

    Ninja Play #6: [2nd Half] Texans-Dolphins Over 21 [-117]
Both teams have been able to move the ball, Texans more-so than the Fish. Missed FGs and settling for FGs in the 1st half. Should be a lot more points on the board than there are. We'll see if they fix the kicking problems and get into the end zone instead of settling. I think they should. Ninjas, Unite!

Heh. Guess that was about right. 4th & 1 from the 2. Texans get the 1st, but not the TD that would have gotten the over done and then they kneel it to end the game of course. Picked the only late game to go under in the 2nd half.

    Ninja Play #7: Eagles-Falcons Total Sacks Over 5 [-115]
Eagles gave up five sacks last week. ATL had five against Chicago. Jason Peters will be less than 100% if he plays at LT for the Eagles and he might not play at all, so a questionable O-line is going to have some issues again I think. Eagles D should be firing after Matt Ryan to give them a chance to get some as well.

Ninja Play #8: Any Player Has a 35+ Yard Rush [-115]
Lots of home run hitters in this one. McCoy for Philly. Turner for Atlanta. Also throw in Vick running + DeSean Jackson potentially on end arounds, etc. Think there will be some big plays in the running game.

Thought hard about making this play, but it's still a little bit of a coin flip. Team to commit the first penalty. Eagles @ -115 would be my play. They make a ton of stupid miscues, but you never know - ATL could be offsides on the kickoff and you get screwed. In any case, I like the play ... but not going to make it.

5Dimes. Sacks prop lost by one. Cannot believe the Eagles did not give up one sack. Would have pushed as they got to Ryan four times.

Ninja Play #9: Rams TE Lance Kendricks Total Receptions Over 2.5 [-125]
The Rams have to have someone step up and make some plays in the passing game. The Giants gave a lot of free looks to Fred Davis in Week 1 at Washington. Kendricks was targeted five times in Week 1, but only caught one pass an dropped two including a would-be TD. He seemed to be looked away from after that drop, but you've got to go with the talent you have and he has plenty to be a handful for the Giants. Chalk Week 1 up to rookie jitters. I think Kendrick is an effective safety blanket tonight and could be a favorite target of Bradford and OC Josh McDaniels tonight if they are patient enough to stick with him. Look for them to get him an easy one for his confidence early.

Ninja Play #10: Lions QB Matthew Stafford Total Passing Yards Over 255.5 [-125]
Stafford and this Lions passing offense are on a roll. Stafford has games of 294 and 305 yards in Detroit's 2-0 start. In Minnesota, he will see a team that has struggled against the pass already - carved up by Freeman for 243 and Rivers for 335. With Detroit's running game still not very consistent and Minnesota pretty stout vs. the run, look for Stafford & Co. to get it done through the air on Sunday.

    Ninja Play #11: [2nd Half] Texans-Saints Over 24 [-125]
Texans have been moving the ball up and down the field. Need to finish drives with TDs, not FGs. Saints have been a good 2nd half scoring team so far and will need to score here to have a shot to win since their defense looks shaky.

Ninja Play #12: Atlanta RB Michael Turner Total Rushing Yards Over 92.5 [+100]
Tampa has been gashed in the running game in the 1st two games. Peterson hit for 120 last week. Turner had a 100 yard plus game against Tampa last season and the other for 88. With rain expected for most of this game, the running game should be big here for Atlanta. Looking for them to establish Turner and wear down the Bucs.

Well the Turner prop never had a shot. Falcons fell behind and never got a chance to run much, not as if they were doing much with it before falling behind. 3-1 on the day. Looking for that prop winner for Sunday Night ...

    Nina Play #14: Steelers-Colts Either Team Has a Punt 57+ Yards [-115]
Two big legs in Sepulveda for Pittsburgh and McAfee for Indianapolis. Sepulveda has three punts over 60 yards and four over 57 yards so far. McAfee booted two last week that hit for 57 yards or more and has three of those on the season now. Inside the Dome, there should be a good shot that one of these guys gets off a boomer. McAfee obviously should be expected to get more chances and hopefully the Colts defense can make the Steelers punt maybe three times or so. As always, all my prop plays are @ 5Dimes.

Well guess I chose the wrong punt prop. Had looked at either team with six+ punts which would have cashed, but went with this one instead. McAfee has hit a 54 and 55 yarder, but close doesn't win!
