I considered getting a PS3 and paying the 340. Going to start the season seeing if I have any luck with streams online.

Did you not read the thread?

PS3 Sunday Ticket is same price, so no saving money on it.

I'm pretty sure Trace is buying it.

If I had a million dollars I still wouldn't pay for sunday ticket or HBO/showtime/cinemax because they aren't worth the money.

I don't like the blackouts that directv has during weather issues and I think they are overpriced. I do like the idea of having on ps3 if it was affordable enough. I seen here it is over $300 a year which isn't too bad for 17 weeks though. I do visit my local bar that has it which is less than a mile from my house and the prices for food is reasonable there too. One of these days this will all be available online and I will be able to hook it up to my television from my pc or laptop. I think the screen is too small on my phone for this so I sure don't want that.

NFL Gameday is well worth my money, as long as I get to see the entire 16 Eagles and Broncos games this year. The NFL only comes once a year, and enjoy watching it. Especially when I have money. Football is the only sport I enjoy watching if I got money on it. Unlike basketball, where I'd take two hour nap and hopefully when I wake up, my hits.

How do you fools bet on teams you have not even seen play? Or how do you bet on their next game not knowing what they have been performing like recently? I know a lot of bets are blind in many aspects, but don't you ever think that keeping tabs on teams is the best way to go about a proposition such as gambling on sports.

I have one question before I purchase. Are you able to access games after they have occurred. Or is this just a live stream type of deal. Like when its On Direct TV don't you have access to games throughout the week to review. I will purchase only if you do so let me know if you know. And I'll probably get it anyways cuz I will be missing very few sundays

I would agree with that, i got it for me and i was paying for it for everyone else in my family. 25 bucks a month, one month i had a bad month, and my mom gets all pissed off and goes and cancels them both without even talking to me first.

They are like, they don't play any good movies. Well movies are only half if not less then half of what HBO and Showtime is about.
Its about the TV shows they have on them, like Curb, Big Love (my favorite show that ended recently) Entourage, on showtime, The Big C, (my favoirte show on there, had one of the saddest endings to a season ever) , Nurse Jackie, United States of Tara, Shameless(my favorite new show on both hbo and showtime).

I am trying to convince my mom to get it back, but shes being a total B about the issue. I was like i will give you 100 dollars in advance.

Not to mention the great documentaries on HBO, and their sports/boxing programing.

Anyone thinking that signing a 2 year contract to get free ST through DTV is getting a good deal is dead wrong. You are paying at least $700 a year for channels you won't watch.

The PS3 would be the way to go. Pay $340 with no commitment. Unless you have shows you can't live without satellite and cable companies are screwing you.

Way cheaper to buy sports packages through the PS3 and you can still get the ST to go for $50.

What are you talkin about man? The package is still 350 through ps3. Most people have some kind of cable or satellite anyway. Switchin to Directv for the free packeage is worth it. They don't even make you order the highest package. Just have to commit to the $40 package. Most people are paying more than that anyway. I just hate their customer service and bullshit little charges.

You could subscribe to Netflix and Hulu and get OTA channels in HD. Even the $40 a month package will run about $600 a year. I'm talking about not using satellite or cable tv. Someone that just watches sports and occasional TV could save alot of money going that route.

Netflix is a total ripoff. That $8 a month wasn't worth my time with all those old movies to stream. Totally uesless.

I'd rather stream from ATDHE.ME for free

Pass ..... times are hard but you have to be a major tight wad to not have dish or cable two years or ten years doesnt matter im not going back to dish or cable. getting better service and paying half of what I was giving dish is worth it to me free st was a nice bonus. who the fukk doesnt have cable or some kind of dish at home?
