i play in a PPR league so WR are more valuable, as well as, receiving RBs. turner should be a mid to late second round pick in my league.

Obviously he didn't work out but still was able to pick up Josh Freeman. That Strategy to me on paper feels like the ideal way to go. We start a flex so 2 rbs/2wrs and a flew of one of those 2. I like going with 3 rbs. It just worried me to do it again since I missed the playoffs last year. To me an ideal team though is your exact thought process. It just made me wonder how eeveryone thought starting 2 qbs changes that thought? Is a top 8 Qb needed? Thanks for your input.
in a 2 QB league or an extras spot where you have the option to start a QB, you have to get a decent QB to start there. depending on points QBs will score more points on average than the other positions so you need those extra points.

Great info/I'm kind of new into FF in comparison to other guys in my league who research and bring all sorts of magazines and data to the table. This info will be a big help to me. thanks

    Impressive write-up TT.

I've always believed in drafting backs early as well, but it depends on the scoring structure of the league.

Yahoo 12 team league. PPR. QB.RB.RB.WR.WR.RB/WR.TE.K.Defense. Snake Draft.

I was thinking of RB,WR,QB,TE, then load up on RB's and WR's with the rest of my picks. Then Defense and Kicker in the last two rounds. Also depends on the spot I pick from, plus there will always be changes on the fly, due to the way others are drafting. But this maybe my set drafting strategy.

I feel there are more options at RB/WR later in the year then trying to figure out who to start at QB and TE each week. If you get a top 7 QB and top 5 TE, you will be good there until their BYE week. So if I load up on the RB's and WR's in the later rounds, I could possibly get the sleeper that breaks out this year.

I just feel safer with a solid QB and TE.

I will probably leaving Rookies out due to the shorten off season, and stick to players on teams that are in the same system as last year. If all possible. Because of a shorten time to learn the system.

Two years ago I drafted WR.WR.RB.RB.QB. and finished 5th or 6th, can't remember.
Last year I drafted RB.RB.WR.QB.TE. and finished 3rd.
So I figured I would try a different strategy this year and see how it works.

I will do some mocking this year, to see how things go.

I'm sure all the RB's and WR's are going in the first 4 rounds.

    Sorry, private league.

If I can't get Gates in the 4th round, I will most likely pick another RB and wait for the TE in the 5th or 6th round. Like I said, it is going to change on the fly. It always does. Either way, my late rounds will be full of RB's and WR's until the last 2 rounds for the Defense and Kicker.

Plus it is early, my strategy could change. I haven't studied anything yet, or mocked drafted yet.

My draft is set for August 28th (Not smart to draft early, with all the late moves, and possible injuries). So I have time.

Wait for a qb for sure in a league like this. I would go rb rb for sure in this league

Id go rb rb,wr, wr, wr, qb te, depends if jimmy graham is there or whoever. D and k last 2 picks

I'm a also a proponent of rb rb. One league I'm in has decided to go go 3wr/2rb/flex, this is starting to make me wonder. Thinking I should probably go rb wr then rb or wr depending whose there. What you think tt?

TT - I'm in a 10 Man league that starts 2 QB's. Even if RBs are slim this year I absolutely need a top5 QB to compete. Other than that the lineup is the same as typical (non PPR) leagues.

    Thanks for the info!

Doesn't Lloyd, Holmes and Manningham seem a bit weak as WR starters? No real WR1 value in there IMO, but I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Granted Lloyd's value skyrockets with Orton throwing him the ball instead of Tebow...

Thanks for the writeup, way better than the articles I've been reading. I'm really anxious for football to start! I agree with the RB RB strategy for the most part, unless a stud WR or QB falls into your lap. If I draft 3rd and wind up with Foster I'd be stoked, but I don't see that happening in my league. Best of luck.

Experimental mock draft going wr wr just to try it out

    12th pick

Nicks, roddy white, p manning, l bount, k moreno, m lynch, manningham, j graham, m bush, jordy nelson, ronnie brown
jets,k orton, leonard hankerson, alex henery, saints, andre roberts

You can realistically get a team like this, but just need to decide if you are okay with blount, moreno, lynch,

If i had to do it again, i could of passed on manning, or took rivers, or a bradshaw to have a better rb

I highly recommend to mix up your mocks at mockdraftcentral.com and fantasyfootballcalculator.com and espn

You told a story last year of how you made a fake league with all the teams except for the person you were trying to scam and still lost. I think I'm good guy.
