Care to compare the 2 defenses from last year? Jets were elite, Pats were laughable. How about the offensive weapons? Pats D relied on a rookie corner, and the offensive weapons consisted of Welker, Branch, 2 rookie TEs, and a 5'8" white RB who couldn't even make the Jets roster.
The Pats overachieved big time last year in the regular season, in a rebuilding year. Its only because of Brady that they even made the playoffs

Why do you assume the Pats wouldn't have won any of those games if Vinatieri missed? Almost every clutch kick was with a tie game...

2 of those road wins were against the Colts and Pats who had major injuries. Colts had injuries everywhere only to lose by 1 but the previous season shredded the Jets and Tom Brady had foot surgery the day after the loss.
