Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes did not practice with the team today and has been listed as inactive for this Sunday's game against the New York Giants less than 24 hours after marijuana was discovered in his vehicle at a traffic stop. Coach Mike Tomlin told the media after practice that Holmes will be listed as inactive this Sunday. Tomlin sent Holmes home from the Steelers practice facility before practice began today and told him that he could return on Monday. NFL officials say that it is reviewing the situation. Holmes was stopped by police near Mellon Arena yesterday afternoon where police found him to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The officers involved in the stop say that Holmes was not impaired.
