    Steelers -6 @ Cleveland

Considering the whupping Dallas handed out @ Cleveland last week, does this not look a bit light to anyone? The Steelers have a lot of offense, and Cleveland's D looks ridiculous thus far.

Yeah but i wouldn't judge cleveland by that performance.. You're right it does seem too soft.. but i wouldn't bet this game

This is one of my favorite bets this week. Cleveland is still getting a little respect despite the week one beat down because preseason high hopes for a team can linger well into the year. But make no mistake, Cleveland is going to disappoint all who picked them as their darling team and will struggle to win seven games.

Well generally speaking, I tend to avoid road favorites in isolated national TV games. That said, there are exceptioons and this seems like a prime candidate.

The Browns apprear to still be overrated after going 10-6 last year while the Stellers may now be the favorites to go to the Super Bowl out of the AFC, giiven the injuries to New England and San Diego and the Colts not appearing to fix their problem with run defense.

I took 'em early too. Thought the line wasn't appropriate and didn't want to let it go up before I made my move.

Rothliesberger didn't practice Thursday because of a sore shoulder which likely effected the line.

Cleveland has no secondary (Sean Jones is out now), and no pass rush. Steelers should cover.

    Don't Doubt Cleveland

I feel that Cleveland is a wild card going into this week. We could have seen a few flukes last week and the Steelers have a tendency to get complacent in games they should win.

I think Cleveland very well could cover.

every single week home dogs lose as well....

last week they went something like 3-4. so, i'm not sure what you're getting at. there are about 5 home dogs week 2. i'm sure a couple will hit and even win outright but i don't see Cleveland being one of them.

    Good Luck boys!!

Rule 1 in the NFL: Don't fall in love with road favorites.

This looks and smells like a trap game.

    Got to go with Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh owns Cleveland. Pittsburgh has good talented personel. Cleveland does not. The only thing Cleveland has is the advantage in this game is homefield. Pittsburgh wins, but not by much.

    pitt will roll over cleveland

cleveland is a bit overrated at this point, and i don't see a backdoor cover either

play your home dogs, this one will lose

    pitt -6 all the way

Line is inflated because of what happened last week (Steelers winning big and Browns losing).

Its a trap. Buttt I took Pitt in BTP. I'm not going to bet them because I got a rule that says dont bet on a team that won in week 1 when its on the road playing a team that lost its opener. What usually happens is the team that won will be flat and the team that lost will have an exceptional game. We will see.

cleveland would lose to both of them too at home

tennessee is a decent team with a decent defense, cleveland is neither

Trap game? No. The line makes perfect sense when you realize that despite what happened in week one, preseason expectations still exist well into the season. There were tons of people who thought Cleveland would win the North, and a week one beat down against arguably the best team in the NFC is not going to change people's opinion on that. Similarly, a week one beat down by Pitt against what many people feel is a weak team in Houston, does not suddenly make Pitt world beaters. I'm not really sure how -6 on the road against a team many think is still playoff quality qualifies as a 'trap game.'

The reason I, and any other intelligent NFL capper, is on the Steelers would have very little to do with what happened in week one because we already knew Cleveland would fall WAY short of preseason expection. Think one step back after two steps forward.

    Just ask yourself

here we go again, just ask yourself, which way would i go if this was week one, it usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks to see how a teams chemistry is and how they react after a loss baring any key injuries, so pitt -6 vs cleveland i would take pitt all day if it was week one so why do betters second guess easy games because vegas expects us to outsmart ourselves. There is nothing that cleveland showed on offense or defense that could give pitt trouble, dallas backed off knowing they were playing philly next week and cleveland faded more than any other team last year, pitt just doesnt let down not against division opponents, if you cant get up for a home opener and be competitive not even win then why would you have the character to bounce back do not be fooled or better fool yourself.

Two other games i really like
Denver +1 or PK all of shanahans QB's have had great years in their third year of shanahans system (Elway & Plummer)

New Orleans PK: better coach, faster team, better Q.B., team on rise vs team on decline name one playmaker on wash. and dont say portis most overrated R.B. in nfl

Clev was a big home dog against the cowboys in week one.

The word "trap" is what bookmakers call a game that 90% of the players are on but ends up losing and losing badly. Time will tell if this is a trap or a free money game.

As far as the X's and O's go, Clev has zero pass rush. Pitt could take a few qtrs off and still possibly cover.

Eh, my post sounded pretty arrogant. What I mean is, if you thought (or knew) Cleveland would not meet pre season expectations, that Dallas line last week was a gift. So how is this week any different? Stats stats stats guys, anything else is speculation and worthless in capping.
