- Is "juice" a percentage of your wager, or a set amount? Im assuming its the former, but I want to be sure I understand it properly.
-I understand that spreads can/will be adjusted to try and balance out the money on each side of a wager; what I am not clear on is, if I place a wager at a given spread, am I "locked in" to that price, or, if the spread changes does my wager change along with it?
Example-assume I bet New York at -6, and closer to game time the spread is adjusted to -7. Does my wager stand at -6, or does it change?
(This is one of the main reasons Im looking to bet sports other then horse racing; nothing is more annoying then betting a horse at 5-1, and then have a bunch of late action drop the
odds to 3/2 by the time the gate opens
. I know WHY that happens, but that doesnt mean I have to LIKE it . . .)
TIA for your responses
