I'm very happy with Matchbook, but i'm wondering, if I want to start betting a couple of thousand here and their instead of hundreds, where is the best place I should go?
I've never tried it, but I think there is a $3,000 cap on matchbook, no?
I live in the United States by the way, and I only bet on soccer games and i've been doing pretty well. So I want to try my luck with slightly more cash at stake.
Unfortunately, the best books for soccer (Pinnacle, Betfair and SBOBet) do not accept Americans.
There is no cap at Matchbook but obviously you depend on others being able/willing to match your offers.
The best traditional book for Soccer that accepts US players is BetPhoenix, IMHO. I would tend to not accept any bonus and ask for the reduced juice lines. 5Dimes has a good selection of leagues matches but much lower limits. The Greek has higher limits but less extensive coverage.
I used BetOnline through my guy, who sets our limits. Not sure what they have for individuals but you may want to look at it. They do have soccer lines but they are usually limited to premier league, champions league, world cup......the biggies. Unfortunately, my guy has us on tropicalaction.com. I am unimpressed so far. They also have soccer but I am not sure of the limits. BOL
What about Vegas? Could I go and just bet a few thousand on a random soccer match? The only set back would be the tax hit i'm assuming. Never been there to gamble on soccer before. Just random stuff like; blackjack, slots, etc...
The extensive coverage isn't a big deal for me. Mainly because I stick to La Liga and premiership. The Mexican league as well, but I tend to do the higher bets on just La Liga.
Anyway, I just feel like i'm doing great, and I want to up the anty, but working through an exchange isn't working for me anymore.
TBH no. The Las Vegas casinos do not offer odds on many matches at all and I doubt that you could get a bet of $3000 down, might be different for the World Cup.
If you are focussed only on the top European leagues then with a combination of 5Dimes, Bookmaker, BetPhoenix and TheGreek you would be OK. IMHO though the gap (in terms of soccer) between these and the very best books is quite considerable.
