    Proxy Vs Remote Access?

    Is there a way to use a proxy without using a VPC while travelling?
    In essence, I would like to continue using my Macbook, but keep using a mobile IP from my home country.
    I have used Teamviewer to remotely access another Macbook sitting back in my home country before (hence home country IP also) – is there any better solution than this?

    That is the best solution in my opinion.

    But an alternative is finding a VPN service offering servers in your country. That way you do not need a device running at home.
