Hello, I've noticed some bookies has max stake limits per match. For example: Chung Hyeon - Troicki Viktor 2.90/1.34 Max stake is about $23, but for another match: Brandsdal Eirik - Hattestad Ola Vigen 1.50/2.55 Max stake is about $170. Could you please tell me what factors are considered when they calculate the max stake? Preferably a formula they use to determine max stake per match?
Its usually based on volume. You'll have bigger stakes on first division because they can balance or at least manage the action. If you bet $100,000 on 4th division the book would have to move so much that youre getting the better of the position and they lose the house edge. Short answer is volume. Bigger the market the more bookies can take at once.
