    Belmont Stakes Pay out Question

Atigun placed and paid $10.60 on a $2 bet, so if i where to place a $25.00 dollar bet on Atigun to Place I should get around $130.00. So i guess my question is do any of the sportsbooks pay out less than the actual odds or does this newbie has it all wrong, thanks in advance for your reply

He showed not place so if you bet on him to place you lost.
if you bet on him to show he paid 10.60 to show so you would of gotten

    25 dollars equals 12.5 2 dollar bets
so 12.5 x 10.60= 132.50 and yes a few books like betislands limit your payouts on show bets

That's ridiculous if true. BI seem like good people, but their racebook sucks.

After finally getting a service rep , They did not short me and paid the full $132.50. They just do there ticketing a little off key or maybe im too new at this. but after the lady gave me a break down of all my transactions minus my losses i see where I went wrong.

Good to know, but BI does have low limits last I checked on some payouts. If you want to play the ponies, check out 5 dimes/DSI. Much better racebooks.
