    New to Sports Betting

I would like to get more serious about sports betting. I started off okay with some small bets on my sports book and I have read some books. I really want to take it to the next level. I love betting on College and professional football games. I would appreciate it if someone can steer me in the right direction.

What are best resources to get information? Are there any good systems to follow? Any help would be great. Thanks.

honestly bro, no one on here knows all the answers about everything, if you use this site as a magic 8 ball you will lose. if gambling was profitable for everyone, no one would work. as for systems? same thing. if there was a magic system for gambling, everyone would rich. my advice..set up a nice bankroll and use a money management system. you will have great weeks/months..and you will have terrible ones. in the end the book wins a majority of the time (98% of people who gamble will lose over their lifetime). if you are on a good run, up the bet..terrible one, dont. most people lose their bankroll trying to recover their losses too fast. ultimately its about having fun and not losing more than you can afford, and if you win..good for you

brandon lang....no but seriously find a, sports picks guy who can talk to you about sports and deliver picks to you so if you lose you dont feel as bad.

For me it took 15 years of losing money and trying to new strategies to hit the 1% that makes money betting on sports. Think of sports betting like going to med school you have to pay your tuition and study to become a doctor and the betting market is no different but your tuition is the sports book in this scenario.

Most likely you will lose. I would be to bet small and have some fun. I would highly recommended using the betpoints book. By using this book it will save you some cash. Plenty of bookies out there willing to take your money. Some pro's can win on a long term basis, but most people will lose over the long haul. Good luck.

maybe, but u shouldnt need any ...

to me its mostly seems to come down to how good u get at assigning values to factors, and how extensive u go into it, ie ------ the giants pass for a average of 300-340 yards at 61% rate except when the humidity is >80%, then it drops off to 250-280 48% rate, that correlated to the average strength of the defenses faced in games over 80% humidity as opposed under and how the defenses faced in those games performed in relation to how they usually perform facing comperable offenses to the Giants and how likely they are to have a off or on performance in the next game ----- assigning values to each piece of info and putting it into formula form ------ this was a completly made up BS example, but u get the point

ive read alittle about capping theory, and I have some college statistic and math classes under my belt, and poker theory, but as far as that. this is just stuff Im pulling from my own head and understanding ... I dont know if this is actually what is done

Ive never read that book, but It was referred to me before as a good place to start

if u are good, u can have a slight winning edge im sure, but probably not enough to become rich, u would have to be majorly bankrolled and be able to absorb huge swings up and down, thats just going to happen in any form of gambling, there is always unperdictable factors ... so all the formula stuff, might be worthless and winning may just truely be all luck
