    Does the owner of ESPN have family ties to someone high up in Womens NCAA BBall?

    Because Im really struggling to understand why ESPN gives it so much coverage. Even watching this Uconn womens team play is awful. ESPN might as well broadcast the pick up game from the local gym

    They show Beaver Ball because they don't want to be accused of sex discrimination by crybaby feminists who love to conveniently ignore the fact that all of the pre-final four games are so sparsely attended that one could walk up to the window an hour before game time and get two tickets in the front row.

    Women's hoops on the highest levels in college is quite exciting to watch. When I was living in CT, EVERYONE watched the Huskies. It was great basketball. It's just, there's so many crappy schools, the level of competition is really poor. Watching the Huskies beat on 16 seeds is not exciting. Watching UConn play Pat Summit is VERY exciting.

    Did you know for 13 dollars you could have sat right next to Ed Cooley Sunday in the Fairfield / Kent State game.

    UCONN/ Stanford / Tenn. / Baylor final womens four would do very good ratings.

    Could not agree more. Books have no idea where to set the women's lines because they do not set them for most of the season. That's why you see wild swings in line movement after they get posted. They react very quickly to the action laid on them.

    Took my wife's parents to a UCONN women's game at Gampel. Nice atmosphere. Kids. Especially girls seem to have a great time. Grandparents love it. Especially grandmas to whom Geno Auriemma is the 2nd coming of Tom Jones.
