UCF is going to have to adapt to a new game-day routine.

The Knights typically have a very structured game-day schedule that involves a shoot-around at the arena where they will be playing and team meetings.

Instead, UCF will be spending a good portion of Wednesday on the road to Omaha, Neb.

UCF did not learn it had to play Creighton in the next round of the College Basketball Invitational at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday until shortly before midnight Monday. The Knights searched for commercial flights and were scheduled to leave for Omaha late Tuesday afternoon, but travel plans fell through. Now UCF is hoping to either fly to Omaha on commercial flights Wednesday morning or take a much more expensive Charter flight Wednesday afternoon. The CBI pays for most of UCF’s travel expenses, but it is unclear whether it will help pay for much more expensive charter flight.

hmmmmm this could effect the team but im not convinced they are kids and they want to get out on the court and play basketball. They will be hyped up for this game and get the job done

I read articles all the time, but this is one of the few that went according to plan.
