That 5 second call at the end of the game, the official made a mistake in my opinion.

I used to referee basketball (intramurals and younger kids) and you use your hand to count seconds in a situation like this. His hand count only goes out 4 times, he's at 4.5 when the timeout is requested and he calls the 5 second violation. Either way, it's the same deal as a 3 second violation, you shouldn't call it unless you are absolutely sure that the time has expired. I always gave .5-1 seconds as a buffer just be be sure. He error'd on the wrong side this time IMO
