2 Wins In, 1 More To Go For My 3-Team Par

All comes down to St. Johns for me. They've beaten Duke, Pitt, W. VA, Notre Dame, 'Nova & UConn!!!!!! Who has Gonzaga beaten, CSU Bakersfield? Bulldogs are not strong this year, and played a much weaker schedule. Red Storm have proven that they can beat anyone. Public and all the talk regarding this game is mostly on and about Gonzaga, similar to how the lean was for Old Dominion. How are they doing now?

The line movement clearly has the wad on Gonzaga, as I took StJ SU last night at -130, and you can get them now at -110 or better. Though one of the most conservative books, the infamous bodog, still has StJ -1 and @ -115. Why do they want to give you Gonzaga and a point to boot @ -105?

If you're on the fence, you're tempted to just take that point. bodog is by far the worst toprated online sportsbook on the planet, but that doesn't mean they're stupid. They're begging you to take Gonzaga. No one else still has StJ favored that I can see. How come?

Forget the odds, I like StJ as the better team here, who has had a great season. That's why the line opened with them -1.5 to -2. Now take all the hype on Gonzaga, StJ flying under the radar, the line movement and you got StJ all wrapped up like a nice March Madness gift here.

    My 3-Team Parlay as follows:

    Parlay (03-17-2011 01:15)
    ---------------------------
    West Virginia ( -1 -130) (FG)
    St Johns ( -½ -130) (FG)
    Connecticut ( -10 -110) (FG)

The odds pay better than 5:1

    Saint Johns

Bodog is quite possibly the worst book out there.

What do you mean by "conservative"?

What I mean is, for example ... they're like last to post lines and uncircle games. They charge some of the highest juice in the industry. The don't offer money lines on games with low point spreads (like -1 or -2), or high point spread (like -10+). They offer rare (if any) point buying. They don't offer quarter lines even for the NBA. Etc., etc. etc.

Conservative in the sense that they don't like to assume risk, unless, it's something that their inside information and touts feel is worthy. If all the Books have the game as a pick'em or leaning with Gonzaga as the fave, and bodog is the only one around that has StJ as the fave (which can only lure more action on Gonzaga with them), you better take a good hard look at StJ.

I can't believe how much of a lock you think St Johns is.....they are below .500 on road. They shouldn't have even won a game in the Big East tourney if it wasnt' for the refs and they already lost to St Marys this year, who Gonzaga won the conference over.....

I never say "lock" though pretty much did say I was fading the line movement in this one, believed StJ could beat anyone, and didn't think Gonzaga is that talented.

I did know that. What I didn't know was how much that was not going to inspire the team, and how much it was going to kill their confidence and my parlay.

Everytime StJ went on a little spurt, to potentially get back into the game, they'd collapse while the coach never called a timeout. Zags would just go right down and easily push the lead back to like 15. When StJ would cut it to 11, and have a chance to cut further, no timeout taken to set anything up. And, no timeout taken if they didn't score and Zags did. Instead. they don't score, Zags do, they don't score again Zags do and by just letting them play never enabled them to get over the hump. No strategy, no plays, no design, no heart. Just crashing
