    Whats the rule on college BBall - Backcourt rule?

    Watching this NIT game. They are backcourting like a mofo. Whats the backcourt rule?

    Just can't go "backcourt" in control of the ball. You can inbound the ball across the half court line, as long as the player catching it is positioned there.

    Hope this makes sense.

    The ball and both feet have to be across the midcourt line, and then all 3 have to cross back over.

    Inbounding the ball does not matter, you can have a baseline out and throw it to the backcourt to get it in
