    Just tack up a few more

    I was up $300 today...making sound picks winning pretty easily. Great!

    Then it happens, and I've lost all of my winnings.

    I have two tight games at the wire at the same time. Kent State ML and Arizona ML

    Do I have to mention how these ended?? I dont think I do....you guys already know! I should have won both, or at the VERY VERY VERY least go split.

    Absolutely no way I lose both...but then I realize its me! Ive seen a gamblers career worth of bad beats in one week....its incredible! I thought I got over the hump, but a few wins didnt get me there.

    Quick recap.....a couple bad beats that come to mind this week.

    1) North Texas ML.....up 7 with about 40 seconds left, and lose on a buzzer beater 3.
    2) Virginia +4.5......up 10 with 40 seconds left, goes to OT, and they lose by 10.
    3) Georgia ML.....up 14 with about 6 mins left, game goes to OT, they get crushed.
    4) UCLA/Oregon UNDER 60.5 1st half.......its at 57 with 5 seconds left, Oregon fouls on fastbreak, stops clock hits both free throws, then Oregon hits half court to go Over.

    To a much much lesser extent:
    Arizona ML today......Washington hits 2 3's in last 20 seconds to force OT, then Isiah Thomas hits buzzer beater to win.

    Im going through a bookie, and Ive gotten smoked all week. I have until tomorrow to get what I lost back.
    Money Management doesnt come into play in my situation here. And thewre is no way I comeback with my luck.

    Fired Long Beach ML as 1st leg on parlay, of course they get spanked, haha!

    If anyone has experienced luck like this...please reply send me a private message or something, and tell me how you deal with it...Please! Ive heard advice of everyone possible, and none of it matters! I take breaks, fade myself, study trends, numbers, line movement, but none of it matters when my team gives up buzzer beaters and sh!ts down there leg.

    Has anyone experienced these type of runs about 15 times in a 6 month stretch??

    When I go through a stretch of bad beats like this -- which seems to be often -- I bet small for a while until I can gain some confidence back.

    Are you a lucky person by nature? You kind of have to be to win at this. I'm not. Well, I take that back: I'm lucky in other areas of life, and I wouldn't trade it for being a successful degenerate while everything else (family, relationships, etc.) is in the tank.

    I am losing my mind........How do I get my old life back??? I hate my friggin life, I hate gambling, yet I cant escape this dogsh!t.
    After ALL the losses Ive encountered, why do I have to lose another game like this??? When will the tide turn????

    God is telling me doesnt want me gambling anymore. The signs couldnt be any clearer. I've bet 26 games this week.....and I now have what I call 9 bad beats. 5-21......is that even possible. And I hit about 25% on my last 60 plays before this week.

    Is this even possible.......do I keep betting bigger and bigger because I have to win eventually???

    Why didnt that continuation 3 count for Boise with 20 seconds. The refs hand went up as he was releasing. Im crazy to say this, but it almost seems like the ref know I had money on the 7.5

    Thanks for the encouragment Friz....but today is just a continuation the the last year. Whenever I think I turned the corner, I get a bad beat.

    I think its funny that at the same time, I had Kent St ML and Arizona ML. Both games went to OT. Kent St and Arizona both had chances to win at the buzzer....both missed.

    In OT, Kent St down 1 had a shot to win at buzzer....missed. Washington had a shot to win at buzzer, they hit.

    The teams I had, went 0-3 on shots to win game....teams I was against went 1-0.

    I feel like this happens to me 95% of the time......and its really not that big of an exaggeration, I swear to you.

    You really should stop, you're not gonna win back what you lost and you're just going to lose more. The same shit happens to me, I'm always fighting to get back what I've lost and I'm just digging myself a bigger hole. I've come to terms with that and I know I'll probably lose it all soon enough.

    You should sit down make your picks on paper and then fade yourself when you place the bet. If that doesn't work then you probably should give it up. Why do something that's gonna make you miserable? Plenty of other things to do besides being a degenerate. Then again that's easy for me to say, I've been able to quadruple my bankroll over the past two weeks using money management and just betting college basketball. If you keep at it you probably should not use real money until your luck changes, unless you have money to burn. Good luck with your picks
