Anyone else liking Va Tech +7.5 today?

Duke could be without their point guard, or at least at less than 100%... Va Tech's got a lot to prove and has momentum after the break they caught.

I haven't been that impressed with Duke from what I've seen, but how will Va Tech match up as far as defending those shooters? Thoughts?

Oh, and of course, the fact that the public is on Duke but the line is moving down.

What else would the public bet?

V-Tech is trash. If you watched them play yesterday I dont know how you could bet them.

Well the sharps are betting them. The line opened at 9 and is down to 7. Someone knows somethin'. Could be about the dinged up PG.

That means Nolan Smith is probably no playing.

No matter how much money came in on V-Tech, it is not going to move 2 pts. That would open books to a possible middle, thus bad bookmaking.

Sportsbook Spy is showing it opened at 9, although yeah, other places show 7.5. Weird, I thought Sportsbook Spy was pretty accurate.

Anyway, as I said, Nolan Smith not playing could be significant, even though Duke is pretty deep.

Not saying I LOVE VT, but that is still the play for me, will play a unit on +7.5.

Either did I, Smith is going to play and dont be surprised to see Irving sometime soon. That is why they never red shirted him. Duke all the way.

B/c he is 1 and done. He was a top 5 pick coming out of high school.

Hell he was the best player on the team coming out oh high school. Redshirting one-and-done's is counter-productive

If he goes into the league after this season it will be a big mistake, we have Austin Rivers coming in next season he will want to stay. My point here was we will see Irving in the tourney!

These guys are trying to further their career. Staying another year, would be asinine.

Its like saying John Wall should have stayed, b/c Brandon Jenkins was coming.

I not trying to be negative towards you. But when your draft stock is high, you have to go.

No I don't disagree with you, keep in mind that john wall also played the entire season, Kyrie has not so is stock is low! based on a couple games that he played? I am a hard core Dukie. If you look at history the guys who stayed 4 years with duke I.E reddick, brand, deng, and even Sheldon Williams are still in the league and have a better chance at being successful. Just because your good, sabastian telfair doesn't mean that you will be good in the league unless you want to play for over a dozen teams.
