Taking the Bonnies 2pm at home pk over URI

anyone with me on this ?
Bonaventure is a better team, although they have been playing poorly
as of late, so has URI. Both teams turnover quite a bit.
Watched URI loss to GW Wednesday, they were pathetic. This year's
team has been a letdown. Just can't get stops. On the other hand
The Bonnies are somewhat of a surprise to the upside. I think they can
return to form and take this game on their home court. No injuries of any
    significance on either side.

    DATE & TIME: Saturday, March 5th, 2:00 p.m. (et)

FACTS & STATS: Site: Reilly Center (6,000) -- St. Bonaventure, New York. Television: CBSCSN. Home Record: URI 10-4, SBU 9-4. Away Record: URI 7-6, SBU 6-8. Neutral Record: URI 1-1, SBU 0-1. Conference Record: URI 9-6, SBU 7-8. Series Record: Rhode Island leads, 35-23.

GAME NOTES: Seeding for the Atlantic 10 Tournament is up for grabs today, as the Rhode Island Rams take on the St. Bonaventure Bonnies at the Reilly Center.

The Rams enter the game in fifth place of the A-10, but they trail Duquesne by just one game for fourth place. URI lost its grip on a top four finishing this past Wednesday, when they suffered a 66-55 home loss to George Washington. The defeat ended a two-game winning streak for the Rams, who have fared better on the road then at home during league play, going 5-2 as the visitor.

As for the Bonnies, they are further down in the standings with just a 7-8 record that has them in a three-way tie for seventh place. SBU hasn't helped its cause of late either, suffering two straight defeats and three in its past four outings. The most recent of those setbacks took place on Wednesday, a 70-64 defeat at Duquesne.

In regard to the all-time series, URI holds a 35-23 lead over SBU and the Rams took a narrow 56-55 win in the first encounter of the season back on January 16th.

The Rams turned the ball over 19 times and were held to just 55 points in a loss to George Washington Wednesday. URI shot a sound 45.1 percent from the floor, but the team struggled from long range (3-of-15) as well as at the foul line (6-of-11). Jamal Wilson guided the squad in defeat with a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Delroy James had one of his own with 12 points and 11 boards. James, though, also accounted for a whopping nine turnovers, giving him 100 for the season. Despite his inability to avoid giveaways, James has been a key player for the Rams, leading the team with 17.6 ppg, 7.9 rpg and 45 steals. Nikola Malesevic follows with 11.2 ppg and he is a tremendous three-point shooter, converting 47.9 percent of the time. Marquis Jones is another player worth noting, as he scores 11.0 ppg and leads the team with 3.8 apg.

The Bonnies turned in a good shooting performance, but 23 turnovers proved costly in a six-point loss to Duquesne on Wednesday. The mishaps resulted in 26 points for Duquesne, negating SBU's 51.2 percent shooting effort from the field. Andrew Nicholson and Ogo Adegboye each scored 12 points to lead the Bonnies in defeat, while Matthew Wright had 11. On the season, Nicholson has performed at a much higher rate, as he averages a healthy 20.1 ppg and 7.2 rpg. Michael Davenport brings 12.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg to the lineup, while Adegboye contributes 11.2 ppg and a team-high 4.0 apg. Demitrius Conger also gets in the mix for the Bonnies with 10.3 ppg and 5.8 rpg.

Behind the support of their home crowd and a big rebound effort from Nicholson, expect the Bonnies to prevail in a tight one today.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: St. Bonaventure 69, Rhode Island 66

I just can't bet on teams that are fading in the last few games.
