Did the St. John's player step out of bounds before final lay up?

Looks like his pivot foot was on the line right before the layup.

doubt it, the ref right in front of him was staring at the line the whole time

the espn feed was filmed from about half-court and about 100 feet up

maybe pavy had a better angle or perspective than the ref that was 6 feet away from the play

I was wondering the same thing when I saw it live. None of the replays showed it very well either.

They had an angle from above the rim. I saw his white shoe step on the line. Don't have video.

turned that shit off right after the bucket, did they even show a replay? I do recall one of the commentators mentioning he may have been out of bounds, but they didn't seem to plan on reviewing it or anything. Lost a big ML play on Pitt, in hindsight, was a square play, St.Johns is legit and they beat like 3 or 4 ranked teams at home. And Kansas second half just came up big for me, so I'm not too upset anymore, but that would really suck if he did step out of bounds and they didn't even bother to review it. Great game though.

White out of bounds line and white shoes. You can also see the black shoes of the ref.

Try this at home. Take a few steps then make a pivot move and try to jump with your toes without your heel touching the ground and I guarantee you you won't jump more than 2" off the ground.

This if there is a chance then you can't call it, especially without a floor angle. That top down camera doesn't cut it!

He is clearly out of bounds. If Pittsburgh was named Duke, North Carolina or Kansas they would have gotten the call. The clue in the video is the black shoes of the referee which is 2 feet away from the line. Also the shoes are white just like the line but I thought all plays at the end of games are reviewed.

there is already too much review going on in hoops.

why would they review all plays at the end of the game?

    waste of time
