    quit betting 2h unders on close games is your first problem. Overtime isn't a great excuse IMO. I had a system at 1 point betting overs on 2H totals if the game was within 5 points at half in a spread of a certain amount (less than 6 or so)

    maybe... what exactly is your system? does the total line have anything to do with what your playing?


    the reason im wondering is cause for la/fiu... i thought it should be 2nd half over... the score was 27-29... 58 points 80 points gets to 138... but game total was 155... 17 point difference... so taking the 2nd half over gives you a 17 point window compared to people who took the total game over

    Murray game wins by 14.

    Pretty piss poor week. I know I don't have proof but i've made a killing off this. Not sure if Rivalry week is the case or what and how this will playout come tourney time.

    I'll get into more of the details of the system tomorrow and maybe you all can add to it or help tweak it. Sub .500 record looks poor but honestly have made a killing this year on it.

    2H total betting can be very profitable, but it can be pretty difficult primarily due to the <15 min you have in which to make these wagers. first, it takes time to evaluate a halftime box score and game situation. then, after completing this analysis, it takes even more time to shop lines and actually place your wager. all this must happen in a small window of time. things only get more complicated when a number of games are going to half at once. its extremely taxing to try and analyze every game and get down before the second half is underway. lots of opportunities are lost simply because there isnt enough time to look them all over.

    thursday card was just about in right in size to comfortably assess most of the days games. yesterday (wednesday) was a different story with 20 gms going off at 7 EST, meaning 20 gms were going to half at about the same time. very hard to properly look over 20 betting possibilities in say 20 minutes time. thats an average of only 1 minute per game, which presents a big problem. to keep ahead of this game, my advice is to continually monitor box scores while the first half is being played and determine what you may be looking to play once the half is over.

    im not privy to what CBB2H is looking at when evaluating a box score and game situation, but based on my criterion i found a number of strong plays thursday. i was surprised that CBB2H didnt coincide with any of them. PS i do play mostly unders. they were:

    ST JOHNS over 72.5 (WON by 22)
    MORE over 66.5 (WON by 16)

    SAMF under 71 (WON by 11)
    SEMO under 71 (lost by 11)
    ARKST under 71 (lost by 9)
    DEN under 64.5 (WON by 9)
    STAN under 72.5 (WON by 8)
    LBS under 78 (lost by 1)
    GONZ under 76.5 (WON by 17)
    UCLA under 73 (WON by 8)

    espn.com is an excellent source for box scores. most are available and you can switch conferences quickly from a drop down menu. highly recommended. those missing at espn can sometimes be found at sportsline.com gametracker. sometimes a box score isnt readily available and requires some web searching to locate the colleges homepage in order to find a live stat link for their current game. search for something like "wofford men's basketball live stats".
