    2/1/11 - Tuesday
    IL hosting PS +8, 129.5
    UW hosting PU +5, 122

    We have two road losers coming off games they where they were favored to win.

    First up, The Illinis of Campaign are giving up 8 to Penn State. 20 days ago, PS beat these guys at home by 3. Penn State has a 6.5 pt ROAD scoring advantage and remember what we just learned the other day Taylor Battle is a bad mother.

    Flip side is Illinois got held to a season low 49 against my beloved Indiana Hoosiers. Couple that with a home 10pt scoring advantage and we have a somewhat tight line.

    I have PS dropping this by 10, includes PS has scoring 3.5 pts less than my forecast.

    So, IL off a loss, back at home, and PS losing by 6 in my forecast with a deviation of 3.5, I have to take the home team. IL -8 2x. O2x.

    UW taking on the West Lafayette Boilermakers. I do not even know if they can make it to Madison due to the storm, but if they do, here is what I see and how i got there.

    UW 69 PU 62. UW is on track with what I project but Purdue is scoring 2.75 lower on the road.

    Again, UW off a loss, back at home, PU losing by 7 with a deviation of 2.75, got to go with home again in this one. UW -5 2X. Now, UW has gone over 3 of 4 at home and PU has gone over 5 of 5 on the road. I love the over 122 3X.

    Ok, IU lost in overtime to MS and beat IL the game before that. MN has dropped 4 of 5 on the road, only beating UM by 5. I HAD the Hoosiers winning outright and think that MN is a little over rated right now.

    Now, IU lost their leading scorer so I know have them losing by 2, 64-62. I am going to still take take the points and the under. IU lost to Minney a month ago by 4. IU +3.5 1X / U 2X

    On the second game, I am taking the Over 1X. MS is all over the place and who knows who is going to show up for Iowa. I would take a total pass, but I challenged myself to take action on every game.

    Back from vacation, and I have my Indiana Hoosiers heading into West Lafayette to take on the Boilermakers. Based on the season through the end of January, you should take the home team favorite and the Over. Indiana can put up points on the road, and has gone over 4 of 5 on the road with an average of 73. Purdue is 2-3 Over at home with an average of 75.

    I like the over 136 2x tonight and I am also on the Hoosiers +14 1x. I have IU dropping this 78 -68.

    Second game, PS bringing in NW. PS is coming off 3 losses after upsetting UW and NW is coming is off of 1 loss after beating IL. I have PS winning by 4, 70-66. With PS giving up 2, at home and coming off losses, I am backing them this afternoon.

    The O/U is pretty close, both teams have underperformed as of late, but I am going to sprinkle the over 132.

    Tonight, previously unbeaten OSU takes on the Spartans of Michigan State. MSU is going to get pounded. I am on OSU -12 3x and the Over 135 1x.

    OSU beat Purdue by 23 and they will dominate the sporadic spartans.

    Tonight, we have two games.

    First MN heading east to take on Penn State. Both teams coming off wins after a loss, PS has covered 5 of 7 at home and MN 3 of 7 on the road. With PS giving up 2.5 and a total of 126.5 this is a tough one. Both teams are 5-7 for the under (home / road respectively) and their last games totaled 106 and 107.

    I am heading to the under tonight. i have this game 63-60 in favor of the home team, too close for me to call it yet, but I am taking the under 126.5 2x.

    Second game, NW hosting the Hawks of Iowa. NW has played horribly last time out, as well as UI playing terrible at home. This is another, "who knows who is showing up" game. With a total of 138, and both team inability to break out 50 points last game, I am taking the under again here for 2x. The under has been cashing this week, going 4 of 5 since Monday. I have NW winning 69-62.

    Three games today and I am unlocking the vault.
    UI -1 hosting UM, 127. I am going out on a limb, I have UI winning 67-66. I am taking the home favorite as UI has a home scoring advantage of 9.5 pts, this even in light of the ass kicking they took from Minney. I am also on the over. 2x UI 2X over.

    The Hawks are 2-5 at home, covering 4 of those games and going over 4. UM is 2-7 on the road, covering 4 and going under 5 times. The last game for UI against NW, their coach was going ape shit and that will carry over into today's game.

    My Hoosiers -2 bringing in NW 141.5. I am all over the under, 3x and taking IU after two road losses to Michigan and Purdue for 2x. IU 69-NW 65.

    IU is 3-3 at home, covering 3 and going over 4. NW is 1-6 on the road, covering twice and going over 6.

    Last game of the night, MS -2 hosting the fighting Illinis. Again,, there is theme, taking the home favorites here and the over 135. 2x each. MS 70 - IL 66.

    MS is 4-2 at home, covering 2 times and going over 3. IL is 2-4 on the road, covering 3 and going over 3.

    First game today i have PU 69- OSU 68 Pk, 137. So, I am rolling with the home team (even though it did not work yesterday) and the over. PU has gone over 3 of 7 at home and OSU has gone over 6 of 7 on the road.

    PU has covered 6 of 7 at home and OSU has covered 3 of 7 on the road. Like PU to win.

    Next game we have Penn State heading into Madison to take on UW.

    UW has covered 6 of 6 and gone over 5 of 7 at home. Couple this with PS covering 3 of 6 on the road, going over 3 of 3 as well. We have a good matchup with the points. PS is carrying 11.5 and a total of 119.5.

    Last time these two teams met is was PS 56 - UW 52 and that was about a month ago. UW at home is too tough for an up and down Nittany Lion team. I am taking US -11 and the over 119, buying 1/2 point on each for 1x.

    Tonight, we have OSU fresh off a road loss to Purdue coming home to host Illinois.

    OSU has covered 2 of 6 at home (against UI and PU) and gone under 1 of 6. IL, however, has covered 4 of 7 and stayed under 3 of 7 on the road.

    I am going with IL on the road, carrying 10.5 with them. I have then dropping the game 70-62, so I am 2x on IL and 1X on the under 135.

    Second Game are two teams that show NO trending or stability. These guys are my nightmare. My pure math is 58% this year, and my pure math says MN 71 MS 65.

    MN has covered 2 of 6, going over 3 of 6 at home. MS has covered twice out of 7 road trips and gone over twice.

    In light of nothing but the math, I am taking MN and hoping for a reversion of home favs losing over the weekend. I am also taking the over 132, 1x each

    I am back on the horse early, F&%$ the math!

    IU bringing in those rat bastards from W.Lafayette(no offense) Purdue. PU was favored by 14 at home two weeks ago and now its down to 5.5 ? Holy Crap. I know that IU has a NEGATIVE home court of 5.5.

    IU has covered 3 of 7 at home and PU is 3 of 6 on the road. I want to take IU soooooooo bad, AND I WILL. IU will lose by no more than 3 pts tonight.

    If you read this and want to wager some points, take them in 25 point chunks and I get 5.5 for my boys in RED. Purdue is coming off a home win and is looking past IU.

    IU +5.5, I am buying it to 6 3x.

    UM -3.5 vs. UW, 121. This is a big over play for me, EVERY UM home game has gone over. O 121 3x.

    I have that game coming in at IU 65 PU 69, so a little too close for me to the total. Now if i look at IU and PU play as of late - PU 76 v. OS (big game factor) PS 70 v. UW (again, kind of big game factor for them) IL v PU 81 pts, this was out of nowhere.

    Flip side is IU at home is Nucking Futs. Its crazy, loud and I will be there tonight myself. I am leaning a lot on their last game vs. NW that they got drunk the night before, or someone had a bad day they should have one that day.

    Knowing how much IU hates PU and the feeling is mutual, I would lean to the OVER and will do so 2x to back up my write up.
